                I can SEE YOU

ha - thats a relief to hear, that you didnt all turn tidy and organised! My memories are not that old, but I had forgotten some of them already, they do go back a long time . I was functioning ok before, but I was cranky, guilty and starting to get overwhelmed. Things are way way better in my head, but life is just as busy.:congratulatory:

So Im grand Molly thanks, as I gloss over it all! There's a lot unsaid between MrM and I, but that will come eventually. So really Im doing good and pincing myself that Im this far.

Slow cooker, yep, I have a roast in there now. I use it a few times a week. Anything I can automate, I will. (I am The Gaget Girl!). Its a fantastic simple device that I wouldnt be without.

Actually I did think I would be superwomen by now - more ambitious in my job and terribly skinny.
Hmm.. think I got all the wrong genes!

                      Hello all the Army Ladies,

                      Back from Lusikisiki!:yay:

Yes, Molly, I have a newish slow cooker...very useful, especially in winter. Why do you ask?

Mary, love. In my very humble opinion there's a very definite switch in dynamics when one partner gives up drinking...........its like all of a sudden we find a voice. It may mean you might have to have 'the talk' but you'll both be clear headed if and when it happens.

Mary- is MrM like Mr S?
A bit bewildered by it all. Happy I've done it - kinda - but still not sure WHY I had to go the full hog and AF.

Wants me to be able to drink in pubs ................ but afraid he can't have it both ways.

He is acting like a 20 year old.
Just went into a 'gig' in Whelans pub - on his own.
Wanted me to go to packed pub & sit sober- but he wouldn't go sober.
He got the bus .... FFS !!
