I remember one of the mams dropped my kids back from scouts, she never came in, but decided this evening she would, for a chat - I had just downed a few large gin's as I was on my own. I nearly died, I was so paranoid I must have come across as a blubbering idiot.
The shaves were getting closer and closer...

A bit bewildered by it all. Happy I've done it - kinda - but still not sure WHY I had to go the full hog and AF.

Wants me to be able to drink in pubs ................ but afraid he can't have it both ways.

He is acting like a 20 year old.
Just went into a 'gig' in Whelans pub - on his own.
Wanted me to go to packed pub & sit sober- but he wouldn't go sober.
He got the bus .... FFS !!

YES - on the (2) occasions I had a chat, he just didn't get it. Thinks Im being paranoid, sure everyone drinks at home.
He differs in that hes not a pub fan, happy to have his toddy in the evening. This did stop mid week at the beginning when I stopped, but its back to normal again.

I think a lot of men are very childish Satz. MrM still gets a bottle of wine on a Sunday, which pisses me off big time. I can handle the beer and the whiskey, but the wine is REALLY annoying. Sometimes I wonder if he thinks Im going to just pour myself a glass.. but sure the bottle wouldn't last me long

I reckon there's loads more 'mes' out there. Its just they can't or won't admit it. Its acceptable to have a few when you get in from work, kids in bed............look at the phrases.......wine o'clock..........its 6pm in the world somewhere. There's even ..........would you believe........ a Knacker Mothers' Wine Club in the Daily Mail.
