    Interesting, I believe it. The remaining question is, why don't some of us bond with others easily? I spend significant time alone, have a lot of friends but not close friends, I'm in groups with people, but low on individual relationships. This adds some understanding to my relationship with alcohol.
    My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

      I am a bit of a loner too, not always by choice though. Mostly by fear of the unknown. Bizarre coming from someone living abroad and yes, I still find it a pretty scary idea.
