Evening all I forgot I had a gp appointment for 5.15 to get flu jab, so got it done. Just felt a bit jittery/shakey after it but fine now after dinner. Shams have you looked at any places that could take you in 3 days or the rehab? Its great that your boss will keep your for you and is accommodating so that takes some pressure off.

Originally posted by mollykaevening all!!! just reading back there --- yes I went to in-house rehab Shams -- loved it so much -- if I was given the option to go again today for 28 days I'd be gone... learnt about SO much more than just dealing with alcohol -- they also had a day rehab that people turned up 9-5 and went home in the evening -- personally I'd have hated that -- I loved being isolated from the real world and just being able to think of NOTHING but me -- what opportunity do any of us have to do that in life? anyway --- dunno what would be about that you could still work -- maybe look into where Jackie mentioned?
Molly, I agreewith you. For 28 days I LOVED being in Rehab. Never ever do most people get the opportunity of kicking back and taking the time out to pull mind, heart, soul and spirit into alignment, and learning to live for just today, entrusting the rest to one's higher power. WOW, what an experience!“It always seems impossible until it's done”

For the first 3 weeks I went back daily, taking bags of snacks, sweets, biscuits and coldrinks to my remaining housemates, and staying all day until after the evening meeting. They have AA on Saturdat and Wednesday, NA on Tuesday and Friday, and CA on Thursday and Sunday. I wasn't scared of the outside world...just in love with rehab!
They eventually had to tell me to go and live life!!:happy2:“It always seems impossible until it's done”
