Well my very very old sewing machine which has seen no action in 15 years, worked 1st time! it was me who was rusty..
who needs mindfulness, get a sewing machine!

Morning army I for got to say i'm going to Avoca Co. Wicklow tomorrow for 2 nights. A lovely b&b the old Coach house near the meetings. Booked a while back as I was feeling low and fed up so something to look forward and a late break for the winter. See if I can find the website or you can google it. it has nice gardens and the rooms and house are lovely. Need a 2nd coffee be back later.

Thats looks gorgeous Glitzy - its a beautiful part of the country, bring your wellies, although the weather looks good.
A lot to see there - Wicklow gaol is supposed to be really good - they do the night tours for halloween, you should do it!!
Will you meet up with anyone, you have AA meetings lined up too, you will be busy!

Hi Mary no I don't have AA meetings lined up as I don't know if Avoca area has any. I know there is some in Wicklow town and Arklow. I don't drive so couldn't get there anyway but its only for 2 nights so a break from AA as well lol. I did the Wicklow town goal thing a few years ago and it is a great tour about Halloween time would be great to do it too but I may do it again another time. looking forward to doing some walks and taking a few pics and Avoca hand weavers is there but they can be expensive but no harm looking. Not sure about meeting up with anyone I didn't make arrangements but I know someone in Wicklow town I might get in contact with. Not mad about going away alone but if there is plenty to do and a nice place to relax i'm happy enough. bus Eireann stops near me so don't have to walk far just hope i'm not waiting ages as I may have to change in Arklow. One of the things I do regret because of drinking and not feeling confidant is not learning to drive if I had believed in myself that I was more worthy than I was and know I had al was a problem earlier life may have been different. But that's the past and I can't change so here I am and that's what I have to deal with and get on with life best I can. Al is destructive I only learned how much when I started to stop. Now enough of that before I start a pity party lol.
