Honestly, years down the line and I'm still hopping on and off this proxy roundabout my little squirrel friend. Have had some decent spells of sobriety by my standards but hey I never give up giving up, in the hope that one day I won't pick up that first drink ever again.

Yes I feel it too. However, the more we pick up the more we realise it aint the answer.

At least you are still in the game and one day the nausea, the depression and the constant battle will be a thing of the past For me too

Morning army well dry so far weather wise but feels chilly. I had a lovely time in Avoca and got back yesterday afternoon. Was just lurking last night and I see Starty is back seems a long time since she was here. Welcome back Starty. Well done Mary you 102 days now? you are doing great. Got some longing for wine when I was away but the craving passed and just got tru it. Good luck with the sale of the shop Mary and the new phase of life for you and Joe. Is Joe ok about putting it up for sale and has got any retirement plans?

Perfect indoor weather today. Absolutely hammered down and misty moisty all day. Leek,potato and sweetcorn soup's ready so just bring your own bread..........I've got plenty of butter.

Evening jc and any one else around. Same kind of weather here. Heavy showers in the afternoon but dark and misty here now. Oh that soup sounds delicious just the thing for winter evenings. Time to start making my own now winter is upon us.
