I get it every year because I had pneumonia 18/19 years ago. Normally to get it free I'd have to wait 'til I was over 60.

exhaust gone and when he brought it in apparently the handle bars are just about to snap -- have to be replaced ---- we're up to 2.5k already if we get it fixed..... can't in conscience do that -- so Joe is investigating getting a smaller cheaper bike for a trade in..

Struth Molly. Crazy money indeed, but not unusual for a Harley dealership if that's the case. They charge a fortune (I ride one and avoid them like the plague). Exhaust and handlebars don't sound like too big an issue. Those parts (aftermarket) are only a couple of hundred bucks and you could fit them yourselves. Or, there must be a more general bike mechanic who could change those parts with aftermarket or far cheaper but quality alternatives? Harley dealerships and spare parts are notoriously overpriced as is obvious here. Would be a shame to get rid of the Harley if that's all that's wrong with it. Good luck.

Morning Sunny et al!! Yes here I am early doors again. Day 4 looming and praying it will not be as horrible as yesterday with the sweats, headaches, shivers etc.

Cannot believe I have put myself through this all over again.
