Court has been postponed until Nov 17. The prosecutor had the police report that showed the other car flipping. Son's lawyer didn't have that document so it is postponed.

Nora, why would son's attorney not have that info? I'm so sorry this is being dragged out even longer. :hug:

Good luck with the attorney, SK...and I swear, in my new place, I will not have any carpet! Such a pain to clean.

TMH, why don't you hang around us for a while? Red is right about alcohol and sleep and alcohol...alcohol will make you "pass" out, but it's a fitful sleep at best. My sleep still isn't exactly stellar, but I have hormonal stuff going on- hot flashes, cold sweats. I did take a benadryl last night and slept very well.

I met bright and early with the H.R. person and finished up my resume, plus I applied for a medical courier job. I have a perfect driving record and I'm in fairly decent shape, so I hope I'll get an interview. Trying to not get too down on my age being a factor here.

Liz, do you have any pics to post of your trip? I would love to see some!

My mom called me in tears a bit ago...she'd gotten a letter from the DMV saying her license had been suspended due to COPD. I told her to call back right away before they closed, that they'd made a mistake. She passed the written skills test and road test with flying colors two weeks ago and has the new license in her billfold, for god's sake...she just called back, relieved. It was an error. Makes me crazy how much stress she's been through over this whole license deal.

Fen, glad things worked out with mom! I think I would've flipped out too. Hope that courier job pans out. Is it full time?
Shopping with my girls today was lots of fun! I did a lot of my Christmas shopping. Lots of bargains to be had. Bought myself a new purse:happy2: went to another investment meeting tonight with hubby. So I am exhausted to say the least.

I had a diet coke bottle in my purse and the lid was loose. My purse is soaked. My butt and the back of my legs. I guess I had my backpack purse over my shoulders and it poured down me slowly.
