It's 4:00 and I am home!!! I still have computer work to do , but I am home!
Hi Dottie - it's great to see you!!
I made a grand entrance into a meeting today by falling down four concrete stairs!! I don't think that will be forgotten any time soon!! I am fine, but will be black and blue. I told everyone I would be sure to get a helmet for future meetings and everyone laughed.
I feel so bad for Kelly, Paula. She's withdrawing from pain meds and she needs to tell her doc the truth and get some much needed relief.
    You ok, Fenny?
    Love to everyone else
I love my family more than alcohol.:h

        Hi Techie!!!!

Sorry Mama - that is something that I would do. And, actually have done several times. LOL I hope you're not too sore & bruised. I hope that you LOVE this job.

Has anyone read "The Girl on the Train"? I'm halfway thru it. It's a good psychological thriller, I guess is what you would call it. But, the main character is alcoholic. And her hiding her bottles and being so drunk and not remembering what happened. Black out. It's a little hard to read because it hits a little (or lot) to close to home.

Jeez Nora, Erin is reading it. She didn't tell me that much about it, but I wonder if she is thinking of me while reading it. Off to a meeting check back later. Erin is coming over with an edible surprise:welldone:

Liz - enjoy your surprise. You are really rocking this. You will be getting your 90 day chip soon. Or is it 100 days? Anyway - congratulations.

I ran over to the market to pick up a couple things. Went out to get in the car and my key wouldn't turn. Been having a little bit of a problem so I sighed and walked around to the passenger door. Geez - wouldn't work on that side either. I pulled my spare key out of my purse and still couldn't get the key to turn. I had just put my backpack purse on my back and was heading off to walk to the auto/hardware store. Looked up - this isn't my car. I was parked next to it.
I just wanted to share my embarrassing moment of the day so that Mama didn't feel alone.:bricks:

                Evening,

Nora, your story about your key in the wrong car made me laugh SOOOOO hard!! Thank you for sharing, brave woman. OK, I'll share, too, then. :-) About 8 years ago, I had been traveling (and flying) all week and had landed at the Milwaukee Airport LATE on a Thursday night, and after drinking on the plane, I had to drive 2 1/2 hrs. to a hotel near my client's plant. Fortunately, I hadn't overdone the drinking part so I didn't endanger myself or anyone else. I was traveling every week then....most of the time in 2 or three countries or states in a week...and I didn't know where I was half the time. I got to the hotel, and had to get up REALLY early the next morning, in the middle of winter, and bitterly cold. There I was, dragging my rollerboard suitcase and laptop roller behind me. Unfortunately, I kept looking for the RENTAL car I had had in Kentucky earlier in the week! LOL! I walked up and down the hotel parking lot, looking for my rental car that didn't exist, and MISSING my car, parked RIGHT IN FRONT of the hotel lobby!!! The 4-letter words that spewed out of my mouth!!! Hahaha. Fortunately I managed to make it to my client's site on time...but it took about a 10-minute rest stop break to fix my hair and touch up my make-up after huffing and puffing in the parking lot. Ahhhh....so glad those days are over.

Mama-you poor baby! I hope you are not too sore tomorrow. You always know how to make an entrance, though. ;-)

Hey Techie, great to see you!!!!!

Liz-ooh...I can't wait to hear about the edible surprise!!

Big hellos to Fen, Pauly, ABC, Skendall...and Dottie, I see things are still going strong with Jon.

I have to work tomorrow but then I'm off again on Friday.

I hope everyone is having a peaceful night. :-)

Pauly - blankie fort is all set. Mom & I went to the Dollar Tree today and I got some junk food and some coloring books!

(YES! I took her for a haircut and to the Dollar Tree. First time she has been out of the house except for a blood test and doctors appointment since I was here the last time. She just doesn't want to leave here at all. So, I'm more persuasive I guess than my brother)

Lol, love the car stories! I've done that a few times too! Most recently I opened my car door and saw a fishing pole in the back seat. I thought perhaps my husband put it in there, odd, but whatever. An older gentleman came running toward the car, that's when I realized it wasn't mine. I just apologized and moved on.
So Erin bought over a box of Krispy creme donuts. My favorite thing in the world!!! They are not that easy to get here in our area, so what a treat. Erin is a teacher and some team or club at her school were selling them as a fundraiser. She thought of her mommy  anyway I'm feeling a little fat. I can bring the leftovers to the blanket fort tonight.

Pauly, yes Lucy keeps her Jammie's on. She loves to be warm. She's always been good with sweater and coats going outside. She even wears a life jacket on the boat.
Yes Nora, I did work today and I'll be honest, I'm not counting the days. That seems to trip me up. I am honestly just taking it one day at a time. Not looking back nor looking ahead.
