Hey all,Krispy kremes are the best when you throw 'em in the microwave for about 20 seconds, warm and gooey bleh,I just ate a donut as a matter of fact but its kinda making me sick,I haven't been craving sugar at all this quit,I still have Halloween candy in my purse that I stole from Lou,I just haven't wanted anything sweet,Kell said she felt better yesterday, I hope so cuz she scares me,Nora, when are you heading home? Mama, are the apartments nice or in the ghetto? Liz,I always lose count too,no use really cuz its not like I'm counting down to anything, some people use it as a tool and that's great,I just always get the number messed up,where the hell is Fen? Maybe her service is down again, Rusty, what's the plan for today, hello to everyone else, let's have a great Thursday
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

Mama, sorry about the bruises, but I must say, you are sounding much happier! Me thinks this job change may have been a good thing!
Rusty, thinking of you today as I'm going to get my nails done. They are a mess after just three weeks. I think your car story wins.
Dottie, I have missed you! I'm thinking things are going well with Jon?
Fen, are you ok? Is there anything I can do to cheer you up? Keeping you in my thoughts today and sending you hugs.
Pauly, Kelly is lucky to have you. It's hard being a mom, but you are being so supportive, I'm sure she is so grateful to have you:love:
Nora, I think I'm going to have to freeze those Krispy Kreme s as I'm still carrying a few extra pounds from the cruise, perhaps I will s end them to you. How long are you staying with mom? My co worker is having her parents move in with her. They live in Costa Rica and her dad is very sick. I can just imagine the stress you are going through. Your doing great! Do you feel good?
Gloomy rainy day here. They are starting renovation across the street which is very sad. We used to look out our window to a lovely field, trees and flowers. A bottle king is going up there now. Yesterday they took down all the shrubs and trees. I will now be looking at a parking lot and a liquor store, within easy walking distance of my front door! Hopefully it will still take more time, they are already behind schedule.
          Happy Thursday my loves.

I ran over to the market to pick up a couple things. Went out to get in the car and my key wouldn't turn. Been having a little bit of a problem so I sighed and walked around to the passenger door. Geez - wouldn't work on that side either. I pulled my spare key out of my purse and still couldn't get the key to turn. I had just put my backpack purse on my back and was heading off to walk to the auto/hardware store. Looked up - this isn't my car. I was parked next to it.
I just wanted to share my embarrassing moment of the day so that Mama didn't feel alone.:bricks:
OMG...this happened to me once, except the door wasn't locked. I got in, started to insert my key into the ignition, looked around and thought "That's weird...I don't have a garbage bag in the front seat...or dog toys!" Some joker in an identical orange element parked next to me at the corner market, lol!

Thanks for asking about me. I had a bad day...was anxious about finding a job, so I forced myself to go through job boards and apply. The day ended with my having an interview on Monday morning, so I'm making progress. My brain hurt from the whole ordeal, so I turned in early.

OMG, mama...I'm so sorry you took a spill! I hope you feel better soon.

Liz, that sucks about both losing your view and the view that will be replacing it...

Nora, that's the problem with guys...your bro wouldn't even think about your mom needing to get out for a haircut. It sounds like he can barely look after himself, based on what you've said earlier. I hope things will turn around for him. I'm so glad you're there with your mom.

Pauly, I agree with the others re: Kell's pain pill withdrawal contributing to her anxiety. Were these prescribed pills? I really hope she just gives in and tries some meds.

                Hi, Dottie...bye, Dottie, lol!

                Did I miss anyone?

Ugh. Sorry about the cold and Kell's arthritis. She's so young to have that issue!

                          Thanks, Nora...
I am way better today. Getting things done.

You guys will not believe this...I took mom mall walking after my meeting today and Santa is already ensconced in his throne at the center of the mall. For Pete's sake, it's not even Thanksgiving yet! Nothing but Christmas carols piped in.

Rusty, Mrs. Fen is in Chicago until tomorrow. So strange! She stays with her mom in Mt. Prospect.
