Seriously - I think I'm going to be talking to myself again tonight. LOL Everybody must be busy having a life. :rotlf:

Things going ok here. Hubby has a sinus infection. He feels miserable. I stopped at Subway on the way home and got us sandwiches and got him a cup of chicken soup. He has already started his rx so hopefully that will kick in soon.
We are trying to get into a little routine here but it's hard because Mom doesn't have a schedule. She naps so much. But, she's happy. She is sleeping with me in my room for awhile until things settle down. Hubby is sleeping on the couch. We only have 2 bedrooms and son's room is packed to the brim (and floor) with junk. He & his GF were planning on moving out soon but with everything that is going on, that is on the back burner. Eventually we'll get everything sorted out.

It was a little sad this evening. Mom was looking at a magazine and said - what is dementia? Is that something wrong with your mind. I said yes - it was. She said that she hopes she doesn't get that. :sad: Made me sad.

Anyway, I hope that everyone is doing ok. I'm such a worrywart when the regulars don't post. You know who you are peeps.

I'm here Nora, was just over in the Café, all the threads are slow, even the Nest! Not sure where everyone went, did I miss a huge sale somewhere??

My FIL has no problems telling people he has dementia, but he quickly adds, at least it's not Alzheimer's! What a positive way to look at it!

I'm here! Crazy, busy day.

Worked out, hit a meeting, met up with one of my sponsors after and read from the 12 and 12, went to mom's and took her mall walking/shopping, ran and got groceries, made some dinner, called back a guy from a lab who has a courier job open- had to turn it down. Four am until seven am. Not even worth it. Called my sponsor and watched a show she recommended called "Mom"...a hysterical sitcom about a mom and her daughter and their AA escapades. It was co-written by one of the guys who writes "Big Bang Theory". We recorded all the episodes, it was that good.

Now I'm in my basement lair, chilling. Literally, lol.

Nora, I'm sorry about your mom...but I'm kind of glad she doesn't realize the state of her mind. She's happy and she knows you and she must feel that she's doing okay.
Gosh, you've got a lot of people packed into your house. Will son lose his job? Can he work during the day and report to jail at night?

Son is going to request a leave from his work. He doesn't know if they'll grant it or not. He is not telling them the real reason, just saying that he needs to help move his Grandma.
Well - Mom just asked me about dementia again. She said she is very fortunate to be her age and not have anything happen yet. So, so does feel that she is doing ok and that is what counts.
She is reading a People magazine and David Beckham is in it with all his tattoos. She keeps commenting on it and then will hold the magazine up to cover her face from hubby & say - I wonder if he has one on his penis. :rotlf: I just googled some images and were looking at them. I think I'm going to have nightmares. ROTFL

Your Mom sounds like a hoot!! I would love to visit her!!! We would be so naughty and laugh and laugh!!
Work is going great.....I am even going to featured in the Jacksonville Business Journal!!! We are working very hard on brand recognition and getting more business.
My ribs are better...I slept like the dead last night.
I am leaving in a few minutes to go to arbitration for our foreclosure. I have no idea what to expect .....I 'll you know the outcome soon.

When I was dating my very first boyfriend, his sister worked in corrections as a nurse. She reported that one inmate had a bumble bee tattooed on the head of his penis. Yikes!

Nora, I'm so glad that your mom feels so together, even if she isn't. It sounds like she's doing quite well with you. I don't know if your bro works or not, but I bet she likes having activity around her and people fussing over her. And I agree with mama, she sounds like a lot of fun! My mom won't even hint at nether regions, LOL! Catholic upbringing.

Hey all,aww Nora ,she's too cute I do love David Beckham, he's my man my dad has a tattoo of a rose and a peircing down there, of course I've never seen it but one of his new girlfriends told me about it years ago,whatevs,I want another tattoo but I don't drink and can't take the pain sober!! Pauly - wow. Your Dad must be brave. Ha. I have been thinking about getting another tattoo too. I was sober when I got mine. After they got done, they brought me a shot of something - vodka? I don't know. Won't be drinking this time though.

Mama - you sound great. Sending you positive thoughts regarding the foreclosure.

Fen - you made me laugh about your Mom and the nether regions. That courier job wasn't enough hours to make it worth it.

So....opposing council never showed up. Our attorney and I are livid. He is going after them to reimburse us for the mediator, lost wages, etc....he is really good. But, we have to reschedule, so the drama continues. I am trying to convince hubs that it's time to go.....just get us six months so we can sell stuff and find a place to rent.....he is still hashing it all over in his head.
