Oh Starts where do I begin with the fun day. :haha:
Like you I love chilling on Sunday and arse around the shops. But I really have to stop buying clothes & shoes
Today first I will visit mother who has a chest infection and house bound which she HATES.
She also has some 'smell' in the house that may or may not be toxic. :egad:
Need to investigate that

Then I have to pack for Munich. Travelling alone and in meetings for 2 days with people who are strangers : kinda antsy about it.

Ah its horrible out there. fire is on, there wont be much venturing outside today. Young fella playing a match, but hubby gone.

Starty, I think Sunday mornings is still my favorite few hours of the week now. Of all days, I would always be most hanging today! Bracing myself for Christmas too, but not dreading it as much as a few months back.

Satz I dont envy you, but when your not looking forward to things, sometimes they turn out great! Hows your little man doing? Has he started counseling? You ok leaving him for the couple of days?

Young Satz is starting on Thursday.
Whether he will drink between now & then is debatable-but he didn't for the past 2 nights - so I'm hopeful.
But if he does he does.....I've told him - Thursday is the start of the rest of your life and be glad you recognised it early and had family that support you.
He knows but is scared like we all were / are of what his life will be like.

This is one I read years & years ago and it stayed with me. I thought about it recently as it is set in Dublin in 1916-worth a goo Dubliners.
May be dated but I loved it.

Hey Foxy Loxey - what are the AA meetings in Dun Laoire like ?
Young Satz has to go to 2 a week.
He works in Dun Laoire and I told him there was a 1pm one there .

He is 2 days AF and I can see an arrogance in him - like "I'm grand I can do without it " - he needs to do this properly.
