hi starty, i found L-glutamine helped me wiv the cravings when i first stopped
I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.

      Morning lovelies and gorgeousnesses.

Satz, there are great debates on which day of the week starts the week on google............from a quick glance depends on which country or religion.............there are many debates.

Starty even from your posts you sound brighter. :congratulatory:
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Oh Molls I hope it goes soon. I can live with another week. Not sure how you did 11 days before rehab I would have been inhaling the stuff through every orifice !! Last weekend I knew I was starting Monday and I literally didn't stop for breath. I even woke in the night to get half a litre of Jack Daniels in!!! God I hate admitting that

Morning Pinky lovely to see you again. I love humour and people who make me laugh I agree life should not be too serious or we would all be depressed and stressed as hell. Sounds like a good experiment keep us posted. Just had porridge with honey and ciniamon for brekkie and a small banana very healthy lol after 2 cups of Java coffee. Woke up with a bit of as headache and ihad a few late nights watching tv but all is good here so far. How is Mrs Pinky these days? Good for you getting an early walk in Starty i'll have to get my ass in gear nad do that later as its such a love sunny day.

Not intentionally,Starts. Woke up early and just turned over and went back to sleep......must have needed it.

Every single time I had a de-tox apart from my last one...........once I knew the date I couldn't get enough booze.

                      Hey, Army.
What a nice long new thread to wake up to! I read that you guys get tired of serious but I think I read the KEY to staying sober here this morning from Satz and Molly:

                      * be first up
                      * remember everything from Saturday night
                      * and not feel shite. :yay:

It seems like most people who relapse don't have a big crisis. Life just gets busy, being sober seems normal, and they forget to notice how much they appreciate it - the feeling CAN go away if you don't nurture it.

Ok, back to having fun, NS (aka SB).

                        Agree Sugarbabe,
I was thinking this morning too, and it backs up Saz's theory about being 'special': if I was a normal drinker, Im sure I would still be happy opening the curtains and letting this sun in, rarely being hungover anyway.

But now I often feel almost giddy, especially on a Sunday morning. I am NOT HUNGOVER. I slept for 8 hours. I can look at myself in the mirror.
You'd have to feel sorry for the normal drinkers really that they cant feel it !
