The meetings in Dun Laoghaire are good and a mix of ages. I find their is quite a few people in their 20's going to AA now I guess its good that they saw the problem early one guy that goes regular is only 28 and is 5 yrs sober. The crypt in Monkstown church has 1pm meetings mon to fri and there is a Wednesday 1pm in the medodist church in Dun Laoghaire across fro the park. Google AA Irelands website for more info and meetings in the Dublin/Kildare area. I wish him well and he might meet a couple of lads in his own age group for support.

Starts
Young Satz deffo has a problem and we've known for a while. He was in Australia and it accelerated there to a point he came home after I think he lost a job and a GF
His sister has always said he is bad and I think i may have been protecting him by ignoring it and not saying much - we spoke about it but it never seemed too bad.
But I know he wants to get it sorted now and start living instead of the half life he was living.
Edit : In fact the lovely Mr G offered to talk to him in Australia and put him in touch with some folks:hug:Last edited by satz123; November 9, 2015, 02:50 AM.
