Sunday shout out 22nd november 2015

    Getting started

I'd like to see a very big SHOUT OUT here from members who have been here a while, those just starting out again and those just starting out for the very first time.
Its the day of the week to SHOUT LOUD AND PROUD.........

Remember each and every one of us here started with a day one, which became a day two, then a week, then a month and then .............to infinity and beyond.

SHOUT IT LOUD AND PROUD AND STAY STRONG AND KEEP THINKING POSITIVE ONE AND ALL LET'S GIVE OUR BEST TOGETHER .
So don't be shy and give it a try...........

Let the time and date calender take the strain from your brain when you're counting...............Date Duration Calculator: Days between two dates

For me its........It is 2330 days from the start date to the end date, end date included or 6 years, 4 months, 16 days including the end date...........to be continued

168 weeks, I actually used that calculator for the first time. Mostly I just enjoy checking in here weekly, hopefully offering one more story of encouragement for anyone who is looking. Great work, friends.
My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

          82 weeks and 1 day.

          that 1 day is important.

                    I got in another week!
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Shouting out 720 days, or one year, 11 months and 20 days. Nearing the second year anniversary of what I have dubbed the Thanksgiving massacre. Thank goodness I don't have to go back there ever!

                        Way to go, Pie!
