Yes, you would have thought that the memory would stop relapses. Funny how it fades and we begin to tell ourselves it wasn't that bad.

What I experience when those things are in place is so much different than when they're not. And isn't what I experience my reality? Kuya might start a thread to explore these ideas.
You guys are lucky to have the BBC! I just watched this online: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3_EHf2...qC9ZzHiwjRcg6g.
Hope you're having a good day!

Hello everyone hope you all are well. I'm home now from my retreat alcohol free. It was there but I didn't have any interest. Which felt great. It was also really nice not to really even think about it for a few days. It's so weird. I feel like I'm back to where I was before my relapse. But I couldn't be..? Or maybe I've been wanting this lifestyle for longer then I knew and just kept drinking because I couldn't get off the merry go round once I started again. Who knows, but it's great to be back. Spinning around is really terrible.AF January 7, 2018

I watched this and have forwarded to my son who is prediabetic and will benefit a lot from it....thanks NS
I watched the programme too. Very good, it is so useful to all of us to realise what we put in our bodies is so very important

Totally get the merry go round. Once on is soo hard to jump off. It is just easier to not get on

Hi Molls, so glad you are feeling better.
I am meeting her today!! Really looking forward to it. We are meeting at a garden centre about half way between each of us for coffee and cake and a mooch around the shopping bit. What are you up to today?

Morning Molly and Starty and anyone about.
Its a nasty horrible day-for-bed out there.
I was out last night, again, grand though as the pub was on the way up to the Dublin mountains, so no one questioned me driving.
Lots of talk about 'the craic' at this wedding and that wedding and plans to all go and get hammered, so I did feel, shit, I'll never be able to play with the gang again - anyway, no head on me this morning, so hallelujah to that:happy2:
Must read up on the 3 principles - sounds very interesting, could do with something extra to focus the head over these few weeks.
Have a lovely lunch Molly - Its a great tradition to have.
Starty, enjoy the afternoon, hope its a bit more pleasant over there..
Where is Sunny to tell us the sun is shining (speaking of which, there's a birthday today??)..AF - July 19th 2015 :happy2:
