    oh god, that song! It was a hit around the 70s? I too had never really listened to the words. How apt.

    The Christmas party.....hmmm yes I have kind of accepted it and am not so scared. I would feel worse not going than going I think. PLUS for the first time in what seems like years I am actually looking forward to Christmas. No pills no booze just Christmas....I was thinking today I need to go and get some tights. Previously that would have been the perfect excuse to go late night shopping and pick up a few boxes of pills from a variety of chemists out of town. I would drive for miles to get them, end up coming home late and broke.

    Now I am just going to get the tights from a local shop It is these little things that are so important.....

    (if I get a vomitting bug between now and tomorrow I wouldnt mind though :woohoo2::hahaha

      Evening.
      T'was 1975...........I was listening to one of those guess the year radio shows yesterday. Only got it right because Bohemian Rhapsody was no 1.
      It could be worse, I could be filing.

          Just about to ice the cake I baked this morning. The Theme is Formal Wear and Crazy Hair. Everything, including the Christmas Tree is in gold.
          Even the outside with the huge gold stars and chinese lanterns in the trees and golden fairy lights everywhere. Gold Glittery signs on the windows saying "Whoo Hoo", and gold bunting hanging on the pool surround.

          The champagne glasses are bejeweled in gold gems ....anyway.... it really is starting to look like a party!!

          In amoungst all this, I am trying to get my head around the 3 principles so I can contribute semi-intellegently!

              Evening ladies, just stuck the dinner in the oven and washed up the mess I made so you have my questionable company for a whole ten mins.....inserts winky face....
              Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

                My first party was nearly 3 weeks ago now, once I got over the first hour, feeling a bit self conscious and vulnerable.. are people looking at me, explaining myself - then I was fine, because nobody really cared.
                Makes a bit more sense now, they were all in their own world too!

                I was more nervous about peer pressure than missing my wine.

                Are you getting your hair done? Are you driving there?

                    WOW Sunny, that sounds amazing!! Are you having the party in your house? Sorry I might have missed some chat.

                    Think we are all struggling to sound intelligent on the 3Ps! Im planning on a little read every day and hoping some if will eventually sink in!

                        Mary the party is at Chris' house...I live in EL now. Christine is a graphic designer...I will take pictures...there must be some way she can get them onto this site...I mean, I'm sure its probably easy to to...I was just born before technology! (Laughs crazily)

                        Yes I am very young...at heart anyway...I was 23 when Chris was born!! You work it out! I will post a pic...how's that?

                            Holy moly Sunny, you are like Twins! and you could knock a decade off you both! Im not much older than your daughter and she looks SO YOUNG :sad:!!
