Afternoon army i haven't looked at the 3ps yet not really in to reading heavy stuff at the mo but take a look at some stage. I bought my plug in tree friday so its up since then and a lovely wreath on the front door. I put pics up on fb. I've the fireplace done since the end of November and a plug in light up house on the kitchen window i got if from a neighbour who buys lots of new stuff every year and she also gave me a snow man that lights up and thats now in the hall. Present wise i'm little got and i've one pack of cards and some left over wrapping paper. don't have a lot to buy for luckily as i don't have a lot of cash but i'll get there. Eny joy ur crimbo shopping whoever is doing it today i may do a bit tomorrow. Up since 7am doing some cleaning and laundry so i think i'll a wee nana nap i'm nackerd now.

I need to gird my loins for that annual debacle.
There is always a row here as the tree goes up - so I'm going to let Mr S do it while I'm at work.
He goes at it like a bull in a china shop - so yes the tree gets put up - but the surrounding area is like a bomb site ...... and God forbid the tree doesn't fit into the stand. I have nightmares about the hacking of a poor tree with a kitchen knife one year :egad: IN the fecking house ..........
There are about 6 sets of lights on it - only half of each set working - get the picture ? Not Mr DIY
And I see another set bought this year as he's discovered LED lights ................... ray: give me strength ....................

Have ANNOUNCED that I'm feeding into Kris kindling sort of thing Jilly is arranging -- any of them that don't want to will do without -- I'm not doing cards -- I'm not doing decorations - cos if I get stressed this year I will NEVER do christmas again -- 40 years of it ---- ??? enough

KK is great craic, saves a load of messing with presents. We put a limit on the spend and have a bit of a performance on the day exchanging pressies - and for weeks before trying to guess who has who and drop hints

I do --- family dynamics -- all adults -- so much work to be done and everyone offers to 'help' me --- HELP me??? like WTF?? I work full-time --- why on EARTH should I be HELPED --- they should be all doing a share split 6 ways.... so now I'm semi-retiring from it - and see how that goes -- if my semi-retirement doesn't work - I'm getting the pipe and slippers and sitting in a rocking chair ;-)
