Good Morning my loves. I had a nice dinner until some psycho resident got hold of my phone number and blew my phone up over an air conditioner.
Setting up Google voice today for unhappy residents. Argh.
Good Luck today Fenny. You got this!
Nora - could you possible have shingles????
Lizz - when we get a new contract to manage for an owner, I am the person that comes in and does due diligence...I audit files, interview employees, walk the property, look at ALL the vacants, and determine the plan of action. I have help, of course, but I am in charge. It's fun, but exhausting and my brain is mush when I get home.
And - yes - our little family is doing great.
I love you all and as, usual, I am out the door. I played hooky for a bit yesterday and got a lot of shopping done. Hubs and I will do our Christmas after Christmas.....this check is for the boys and family.
Oh.....Hubs fixed the dryer!! It took all day, but he did it.
Feel my arms around all of you and know that your are unconditionally loved.
What in the heck happened with Cowboy?? I always liked Sunni GG too and see her on FB.
ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeI love my family more than alcohol.:h

I'm excited for us,I know there will always be something going on,there will always be thoughts but we're doing great,I hope we all have a Wonderful Wednesday
Pauly, I love you! I'm proud of all of us, too.
Sooo...I was interviewed by the supervisor of housekeeping and the lead worker. I could tell they liked me pretty much right away, but my confidence is so shot these days. I know that I answered all of their "behavioral" questions perfectly. They have been busy calling all of my references, as I've been getting calls and texts from them. I REALLY hope I get this job. I know you're all pulling for me. Hopefully by this time tomorrow, I'll have a job offer.
Pauly, in a way, my divorce was a relief this Christmas. I'm excused from spending money, which would be considered frivolous concerning we are divorcing and I am unemployed. STBX Mrs. Fen simply made meatballs for everyone this year. It's so nice to not have to do all that shopping and spending. It's supposed to be a happy time of year, but in fact it can be really stressful from the debt we go into just to try to make everyone happy. I'd rather just have a great meal with the people I love, you know?
Nora, Goodwill has a rack devoted to ugly Christmas sweaters here in town...I hope you didn't spend a lot for yours, LOL! I would love to see a photo of it, if possible. I know you're busy.
Mama has a good point...shingles doesn't always develop into a rash. It's a terrible burning/aching sensation. Is that what you have?
Mama, how did the resident get your phone number? Dang, I am so sorry. Still, the place needs to be in good repair, so I hope the stuff gets fixed in a timely manner. I bet you will bring those properties up to snuff in no time.
Yay for your hubs fixing the dryer! That's a lot of $ he just saved you guys.
"Hey" to Liz, Rusty, SK, Red, Dottie, and anyone else I may have missed...

Been running all day but I've been checking in here for Fen. I just saw your post.that sounds GREAT!! They wouldn't be bothering with references unless they planned on offering it to you."Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

Geez, I guess were all busy! Trying to keep it classy here. After work yesterday I baked some more, bathed Lucy and then my husbands nephew came over. We don't see much of him anymore and we just talked!!! Sadly we don't spend any of the holidays with hubs side of the family. Long story for another day.

Morning all,
Going to a senior center in a low income part of town and serve lunch and play games with the residents. We also deliver food to those who cant come out of their apartments. Jon is going with me. Using his truck to pick up the food. Glad I am not alone. We will go to my friends house later for a light dinner.
Things are going well and I hope you get what you wanted today.
Merry Christmas to you all and I am grateful to have you ALL in my life!!

Good Morning, Everyone!
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! I sure did...lots of family time, and all my relatives loved all the gifts I had chosen for them. The 10 1/2 hrs. I spent wrapping gifts and making the bows to go with them was well worth it. :-) I am truly blessed with a loving and supportive family. I also had a fantastic time with my friend from Dayton. I really didn't know her at all, except that I had met her once, and spoken to her on the phone hundreds of times. What a story she shared with me: She is the product of two alcoholic parents. Because her parents were never there for her emotionally, she learned quickly how to be a survivor. Her mother passed away from cirrhosis at 15. My friend was 13 at the time. She said her mom slept through her childhood: when she would come home from school, her mother would be passed out and wouldn't wake up until dinnertime. Her alcoholic father was physically and verbally abusive. After her mother died, he married the woman he had been having an affair with for years. She was an alcoholic as well. Her father also died from alcoholism. She had absolutely NO fond memories of her parents. My friend is not bitter at all. It's just the way it was. She's a very intelligent, positive person with a fantastic sense of humor and a passion for life. Wow, we have a lot of be proud of...and grateful for...all of us here! WE ARE TAKING CHARGE OF OUR LIVES. With managing our addiction, we are creating positive memories for our children, parents, and other family and friends.
Sunny--GREAT to see you here! So glad you found success on NAL as I did. So happy that you have found your way out! :-) We miss you here.
Fenny-I know this Christmas was really hard for you...and I am sending you massive hugs from Wisconsin.
Big hellos to everyone else. I am driving back (over an hour's trip) to my hometown to reconnect with a high school friend. We will spend the day together, talking, shopping and eating. Ahhh....my priority list!! LOL
