Morning. Whew I am tired today. Think I might go back to bed for an hour.

Thanks for the info on the bed alarms, Fen. I will check into it. Last night, we took the shower chair and put it by the bed with a Jingle bells strand on it and positioned it so she would have to move it when she gets up. I sleep right next to her in the same bed so I was sure that would work. Well, twice she managed to get up without moving that chair. So, that didn't work. I still don't know how she did it. Twice I did hear her and woke up but the other two times, she was already standing.

So, how is everyone else doing today. I'm sorry that this has been all about me, me, me.

Thanks - this site also says that bed rails are dangerous. I was reading that last night after I started looking at them. I think the alarm is the way I need to go.

We are going to try to go get our Christmas tree today. If we time it right, son can stay with Mom while we get the tree and then he has to go to work.

We got our tree. We'll decorate it tomorrow. But, we have it in here with the lights and it smells wonderful.

Good Morning, Everyone! This will be quick because I have a lot to do today and many hours will be spent helping my mother. I really enjoy being with my mom, it's just that she lives over an hour away so commuting takes a chunk out of my day.

Nora, I have never heard of bed alarms but they sound like a good idea. I love the smell of a fresh tree. Enjoy! No, I didn't decorate yesterday. I went to the funeral luncheon for my friend's MIL who passed away a couple of weeks ago.
