Techie, I hope you find answers and treatment for those residual symptoms. It's very concerning. Prayers to both of you.

The visit yesterday was nice, but we worried at Mr. D's extreme loss of weight. He seemed unconcerned as it helped him with his blood sugar and blood pressure. Hope the docs find the best treatment for his heart.

Good evening cafe friends. I made the right decision coming to treatment. I am learning skills to cope and getting to the root of my addiction. It’s been very emotional. But I’m 12 days in and 12 days sober. Just another 16 to go. Looking back I can’t believe how boxed in and isolated I had let myself become. Thinking of you all. I get my phone once a week on Wednesday for an hour so I will not see any replies, but that’s OK, I’ll be back to the daily check in soon enough. Take care my friends.

Glad your chat with the doc went well Techie and great that further tests are being ordered. Hope the new vehicle shopping goes well. I’ve always considered safety as a major part of selecting a car. I’m glad your old car protected you both from more serious injury.

Great to hear from Big Al that he’s doing well. He knows his Cafe friends are behind him 100% and if he reads back in a few weeks, he’ll see that every day we were thinking of him.

Good morning Cafe friends and BigAl update seekers. Fricking WONDERFUL to hear from you [MENTION=24510]BigAl[/MENTION]. So pleased you took this leap to a better life. I’m having MRI on Friday. Mrs. Techie is having X-rays of neck, back, and knee. We speak with the insurance medical specialist today. We are logging our time as this is taking away from our work and is just an interruption to our day. So, with a positive attitude and deep gratitude I accept another twenty four. I wish you all the best day possible. For all those in pain I pray for relief. Blessings x

Good morning Cafe Friends!! I feel like I have been off the grid for a while. We had no internet in our new condo and finally yesterday it was hooked up. Its awful not having it. Just read all the updates since my last check in. Seeing Big Als post really makes my morning!! We have been non stop busy. It’s completely exhausting and overwhelming to say the least. Found some ‘in stock’ furniture which is being delivered in 2 weeks so we will have something. I went to the thrift store and got a little table so we have something to eat on. Very primitive living but all is good. Thanks for all the concern about where I was. Wishing everyone a great and sober day. Another 24 for me please and thank you.
