    Bit cloudy here in Jersey and a cool 76f (relatively speaking) at a quarter to 1 pm. I'll take another 24 please and a big congrats [MENTION=20527]Marylou123[/MENTION]!!

        My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

          Great to see you again Bri!! How you making out with all the heat and humidity?
          Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
          Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
          Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

                    hey Sunbeam, Cowboy and Vervill. i hope you're all doing well.
                    i'm not doing too bad. keeping busy. still sober! in about a week i'll be celebrating two years and it's quite surreal to even think about. let alone know that this is my life now. which i am totally grateful for of course.

                    the humidity broke today Cowboy! it literally felt like Fall and i LOVED it! i cannot wait until we have Fall. the feeling i get during this season is...indescribable i dont even know why! lol
                    how's your weather?

                    anyone watching game of thrones? so obsessed w/ that show. lol.

                      5:56 a.m. here.. cooler and raining like crazy. should be like this for a couple of days, but that's ok with me. as long as it gets sunny again sometime this summer!:happy2: looking forward to 24 more hours!

                              A beautiful clear cool morning here, with little humidity, yea! Feels great, 24 more please.
                              Good to hear from you Bri, look forward to the 2 year celebration as well. That's great stuff! I watch GOT as well, started watching about a year ago, and watched all 6 season over the course of the year. Now I'm annoyed that I have to wait a week between episodes. I want to watch 2-3 episodes at at time, lol!
                              I have some bad news to report, but I think it's important here, because we always need to keep our guard up against AL. My niece, who suffers from AL problems as well, fell off the wagon, hard. She had been sober for nearly seven years, and started drinking again. I don't know all the details, because I don't live anyway near her, but one night she left the house and was found the next morning in a park, dirty, scratched up, and missing clothing. Thankfully she was not raped, but nobody knows what happened, not even her. Scary stuff. She's checked her self into rehab, and we're all wishing the best for her. Scary stuff.

                                Sorry to hear about your niece Mr. V. Glad she wasn't hurt beyond the scratches. My best wishes to her.
