Re: ~cattleman cafe~ & another 24...

Loved the quote techie! Wise words...

The wind is howling out there this morning and we're supposed to get some snow tomorrow. Not a lot, but at least it will brighten up the landscape.

Put me in for another 24 please...

Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Ya, I couldn't log in yesterday morning either and it completely slipped my mind to try later in the day.

I think the only way I could help a new person would be to apprentice them, which would mean having enough work for them full time for the 4 year apprenticeship, not something I'd really want to do at this stage lol.

Hi! I missed check in after I couldn't login. Slipped my mind too, ABC.

Hubby needs a knee replacement. He's been babying it the last few months and finally went to the doc yesterday. Sure enough bone on bone. Now to talk him into doing it!

I'll take another glorious day!

Well, cowboy, I wouldn't want to be pushing you toward increasing your load in any way! You must continue on your path of lightening your load and enjoying your days where ever they take you!

Hope you don't have too many side effects Mulburry. I can't believe you have had to go thru covid twice! Enough is enough!!

24 more for all of us please and thank you.

I saw on the news last night that a lot of businesses , especially retail, are having a hard time finding people to work for them. Sounds like it's the same in your neck of the woods cowboy. It seems as though a lot of young people want to start out in high paying corporate jobs, which leaves a big gap in the trades industry. Most of the local farmers here hire guatamalians as they are hard workers that don't demand a huge salary, or mind getting their hands dirty. Kinda sad...

Committed to another day without booze!

Good morning Cafe friends and employers. I’m even having trouble finding a new EA. I will more than likely look into a virtual assistant as more and more folks want to work remotely. Interesting times. So, with a deep appreciation for the sober life, I accept another twenty four. I wish you all the best day possible. Blessings x

Earlier I had a very intense craving for a tall ice cold glass of delicious beer, just one....
...not today!

Missed your birthday yesterday abcowboy! Hope that you had a great day! :cupcake::balloons:

A little snow this morning and cold temps, but I'll take it over rain and mud any day!
Mulburry, these cravings for our drink of choice seem to come out of nowhere don't they? One of my triggers is seeing people on tv enjoying a big glass of wine. Uggh...I can almost taste it, but what's the point of having just one?

Techie, hope that you find an assistant soon.

24 more for all of us please.
