Coconut in coleslaw Rava? I am going to have to give that a try! Coleslaw is a staple here because Mr. D enjoys growing cabbage, so I almost always have a cabbage on hand. My favorite macaroons are dipped in dark chocolate.

We are going to have plunging temperatures this week Jude. I hope no snow, but we shall see!

Ginger, I do Wordle and share with family members every day! Connections, often as well.

Cowboy, over the years they go back and forth on nutritional guidelines so that I don't currently know what they say about coconut oil and coconut meat! Perhaps if I have time today I'll do a search on the topic.

    Hi, Mul!

24 more for all of us here, please.

I love everything coconut, especially if it's covered in chocolate! The weather guys are talking about a snow storm at the end of this week, sure hope that they're wrong!

Looking forward to another 24 hours...

I see I forgot to check in yesterday! I've been doing wordle and connections when I get up and sharing results with my sisters. I guess that took my mind away from check in! It was a booze free day

I LOVE everything about coconut and have since I was a little girl and would beg my mom for a whole one at the grocery store. I shared it with no one! Lol

I'll take another day of freedom!

Good morning all. Thanks for yesterday’s breakfast Cowboy. Dill I am a coconut lover. I even add it to coleslaw for a really super good taste. Going to drive 2 hours today to meet our son at a halfway point for lunch. Hope everyone has a great and sober day. 24 more please and thank you!

You're right dill, I should probably rephrase that to I hope we get lots of snow over the course of the winter, not just in a few dumps lol. I love coconut and the coconut chocolate macaroons are one of my favorites as well. But if I remember correctly coconut is high in saturated fat so anyone with cholesterol problems has to watch how much of it they eat.

Yesterday's breakfast was superb, Cowboy! Thank you. I know you meant well when you said you hoped for lots of of snow this year, but fingers crossed you don't someday regret the sentiment!

At the end of the day at the bake sale we had several items left, mostly tea breads and muffins. The leftovers were coconut pecan bread and muffins, and pumpkin bread. We decided to give away the last items to any vendors that wanted them. I sent my granddaughter to offer them out and was surprised when a number of folks said no thank you to the coconut pecan breads saying they weren't keen on coconut. I really like coconut so that was a surprise to me! What about here? Do we have fans or foes of coconut? One of my favorite cookies is the coconut macaroon. Mmmm.

Not much happening here. Mr. D has his second knee injection today, but that's about it.

    Good day not to drink!

Glad the bake sale went well dill, fundraisers are an important source of income for lots of organizations

We faired about as well yesterday as Mr J did Jude lol. We saw a few moose, lots of mule deer, but only one whitetail and it was in such thick bush we couldn't tell if it was a buck or a doe.

It was a fair amount of snow for our first Mulburry, hopefully we'll get lots of snow this year as we definitely need the moisture.

Waves to the rest of the gang, have a great Sunday y'all!

Love the pictures, Cowboy! The first snowfall is always special.

The bake sale went well. We had more donations than last year and the sale was well attended.

Fingers crossed for Mr. J and his friend today.

Waves to Ginger, Rava and Mulburry,

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.
