You just have to find some patience Ginger, that's one more drawback to growing old, we don't heal up as quick as we used to lol.

Back in the field yesterday and took off our first field of canola and got started on the second one, lots more to do though.

Not as much as you'll get in Florida Rava (fingers crossed for not too much) but raining Cats and Dogs here today. It's funny we had one last a really hot (27C) summery day yesterday and now it went straight ot hard cold rainy fall weather. Makes for a miserable day but the landscape needs it.

Fingers crossed for Florida and all the states in the path of Helene. It looks like a real rain maker tho, which is needed in many places.

Off to my volunteer job and later this afternoon we are going to a local feed store that has decided to host a food truck event! Good marketing plan, I must say. I don't know what trucks will be there but we plan to find out. Maybe get some chicken feed while in attendance....

Good morning Cafe. Dill, the food truck event sounds great. They can be so good! Ginger, I have full faith that you will get up off the floor today! Watching the weather closely. My Florida home is getting tornado warnings right now. Our storm surge is 5 feet so we are watching our cameras for now. Thankful we are not in the cone but still taking some hits. I am so glad I am not there right now. This will not drive me to drink. It seems I dont need a reason, I just drink because I want to. UGH. I'd love to try out a few food trucks dill, the only one I've seen around here just offers the regular fast food.

Dill, that food truck event at the feed store sounds like fun, what a great idea! Rava, I hope that your condo will be OK during the storm. We get a lot of snow where we live, but I'd much rather have that than a hurricane. Scary stuff!

Good morning Cafe. I am thinking we have no damage as the storm went well north of us although some roads near the condo were flooded. I have to remind myself that we are north to stay away from those hurricanes. I think I still have PTSD from the one that was a direct hit to us a few years ago. Thanks for all the well wishes. I am up early today and headed to visit my grand daughter at her college dorm. My daughter and I are spending the weekend in a nearby hotel. There should be no issues with drinking as my daughter doesn't drink. THANK THE LORD! Hope everyone has a great weekend. Ginger, glad the workout went well. 24 more for us all!

I'm glad your home in Florida was spared, Rava. That's a huge relief for you. Enjoy your weekend with your daughter. That sounds like fun.

Yes, Jude, the food truck even was really good. Interesting vendors. There was a German food truck, Japanese Sushi, Lobster, Sausages, Pilipino, Mexican....Much more variety than I expected. Plus there were some local farmers selling fresh produce. one of the gals selling produce was the daughter of our farmer friend, the one that just had his 80th. She was doing a brisk business.

Ginger, hang in there and be patient with your recovery. I know it's hard. Be gentle with yourself.

Cowboy, it sounds like you are really hard at it! Soon it will be done and you can rest until Spring.

Indeed, seeing some of the news footage of other areas, wowzers, catastrophic puts in mildly.
Back to gorgeous fall weather here, 18C and (mostly) sunny, can't ask for weather better than that. Some of the leaves are starting to turn already too making for a nice autumnal look.
