I'm not a big fan of the time change either, but don't have much choice. If I didn't set the clocks back one hour tonight I'd stay on the same time as Saskatchewan, but would be different from everyone else in Alberta lol.Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Rava, I agree with you about how life used to be much simpler. I'm always grateful that I grew up in a time when life was less complicated. I feel bad for kids today, as they don't seem to have the freedom that I had as a child. We also didn't have computers, cell phones and social media. Kids today always seem to have their eyes glued to their cell phones or tablets, and they don't realize all of the things that they're missing.
24 more for all of us please...

Ditto Jude and Rava, I hope the children and young people today can find a way to put the cell phones and tablets in their place and get back to living and connecting to others in the here and now and in person. Maybe that's a good target for prayer today if anyone is so inclined.
24 (or is it 25?) more for all of us here, please and thank you.Dill

Good morning. My clock said 5 am but I knew it was 6 am. So I got up anyway. Takes a bit for me to adjust but I will. Mr R has come back with a horrible cough and has lost his voice. Covid test was negative. I am sure he picked it up on the plane which is a breeding fest for germs. Hopefully I will not get it. I am way too early for Cowboys breakfast so I will have a donut for now. Hope everyone has a safe and sober day. 24 more please and thank you.

Things were definitely simpler when we were growing up, most kids didn't even have a wristwatch till they were in their teens, now the kids don't even wear them as they check the time on their cell phone lol. But I'm glad for the technology we have today otherwise I would have never met y'all!Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. Rava, do you guys wear masks on planes? My sister always does regardless of covid. So far she's stayed well!
