Winter is coming. The change in seasons can often be a trigger. At least, it can be for me.
We have a busy week going. Saturday is our annual Auxiliary Christmas Bazaar and Bake Sale. I'm head of the Bake Sale table again this year. My granddaughter has offered to help, so it will be a great way to spend some time together.

We had our first snow yesterday, but no accumulation. Not sure what this winter will bring as the last few years have been fairly mild with less snow than usual. We shall see...

Good morning Cafe. They are talking about another hurricane coming to Florida next week. UGH. I will be watching closely. Will not be drinking tho. Last night I was feeling weak. I played the tape forward and then went for a bike ride until dusk. Came home took a shower and played on my ipad. I got thru it. Grateful for this group. 24 more please and thank you.Comment

Not much to report from here. I have to make my item for the bake sale today. I decided to go super simple: Rolo Pretzels Recipe - Quick and Easy Rolo Pretzel Bites recipe
The recipe calls for M&Ms but I am going to make half the batch with pecans as well.
I don't really enjoy baking as much as I used to, so when I put out the effort to bake, I can't part with the baked good! LOL It's a labor of love when bake for family member or friends.

I think it's pretty cool dill that your granddaughter likes to spend time with you no matter what it happens to be.
We had a bit of snow also Jude, it pretty well melted when it hit the ground though. Just a reminder that winter is on it's way lol.
When does the hurricane season usually end Rava, seems like there's been more hurricane warnings this year than normal.

I would not mind a warm winter. We had heaps of snow and -20C arctic blasts the last couple of winters out in Hope (albeit I think Feb was quite warm last year at least). A little dusting of snow is nice around christmas time (though it comes with the caveat: "be careful what you wish for").Originally posted by Jude58 View Post
