Re: ~cattleman cafe~ & another 24...

Clear today. I don't mind the rain, but I don't like working outside in the rain. Three long days of work this weekend, two out of town, gotta scoot.
24 more please, for all of us here.

55 years of sobriety is simply amazing! I lived with him for 2 of those years, worked with and for him 7 of those years. I saw him lose a daughter, 3 brothers, my aunt, and almost his business in the oil bust of '82, never once did he turn to alcohol. Now that's determination!

Wow! abcowboy, how true that quote rings for me! Thanks for sharing about your uncle. A true story of hope and triumph. I myself have a brother who has been sober for more than thirty years. I'm so proud of him!

Sounds like you might be working too much, Mr Vervill! Take care of yourself.

It's off to the outlet mall for me today. No liquor stores on the route but there is one beer/wine/beverage drive thru that I used to frequent weekly in my drinking life. I will be passing it right by! 24 more for me please and thank you!

Just about 4 pm here in the bunker. Here we are at the beginning of October with the sun shining and 83 f in the sunshine state. Almost time to call Cablevision again. Three !@$#%!! weeks and still no @#$*&!!! service.

OK, that's passed. Another 24 please.

Those are both viable excuses SSD and Ori, but only for not checking in everyday lol

Excuse my ignorance C22, but who the heck is Darren Brown?

Hi Everyone- Quick check in for me -it’s been a busy couple of days. We went to Epcot for a few hours last night and had a nice time. We saw Devon Allman (Gregg’s son) and his new band, front row! Love southern rock. We also went to the Canada pavilion and saw a wonderful film narrated by Martin Short, 360 film surrounded us. Cowboy, empry- your country is beautiful. I’ve only visited Toronto and Victoria (quick cruise stop) so it was nice to get a bigger picture, he he. There was a segment that included grain harvesting - maybe you’re in it Cowboy!
Have a wonderful day/evening friends.
