55 f and sunny here in Jersey @ 8:17 am. I'll take another 24 please!

So I was watching TV the other night, I recently purchased one of those 4K Ultra HD TVs, and as I was sitting there I could see the sets as sets. Could see the layers of make-up on the actors. It was like seeing behind the illusion and I was just sitting at a play instead of in front of my TV. It seems the more clear we make the image the more the "fakeness" stands out. Got me wondering if there was something there that was more than just about watching TV.

Orimus, interesting article. Made a lot of sense. As to the TV image. I think it interesting that it has been my experience that HD images on the TV are something men seem to be after more than women. I know that I was always totally satisfied with the fuzzy images of our older sets while Mr. D kept pressing on towards the newer and brighter and sharper, etc. I guess I can't speak for anyone but me. But for myself, the picture quality never mattered as much as the story itself. Over time of course I have come to appreciate the sharper images, but it still is a take it or leave it for me. And like you, I have sometimes found the sharper images somewhat distracting at times, taking away from the story. Of course, it's just a matter getting used to I'm sure. And it's probably a generational thing too. People are being "raised" on sharper images now than what I grew up with!

I survived 24 the big no nothing quit. Didn't take a Valium either. Have eaten good quality stuff during the day and found the L Glutamine I havent used for ages so having this for any cravings which helps. My other area of interest today is being able to focus on something at the right stage of mind and have noticed that the same material wether it be book , activity can be enjoyed more if in the right mindset and its linked to bloodflow in the front of our heads which can be measured with a infrared thermometer. I got to get one and try this out .And I can also guess our great focus is going to be better without AL or cigs TraderFeed: Finding the Zone With Hemoencephalography

Also reporting Blood pressure is down quite abit since yesterday 153/100 73BPM to 135/92 69BPM . Will do a check every 24hr when I post and will help with motivation .Machine may be out on higher end but all relative using same machine each night

Machine I got is this one which is abit older Omron SEM-2 Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor Reviews - ProductReview.com.au but there are later models with bluetooth

As you can see I'm running about an hour late today, I spent that much time trying to get my tablet to connect to the hotspot on my iPhone like it normally does every other morning. I hate it when electronic devices decide they have a mind of their own lol.

And I want to thank dill for another week of great quotes! You're up again in 6 weeks!

Neo, the only reason I did the valium route was because it was there from prior times and my intake was so high. 20-40oz hard liquor for a week. Learned through practice what that level does to me. Clear of it now and introduced my Mirtazapine and Gabapentin again because they are my go to for sobriety. Did one full shunt of it the following day of abstinence and then as a sleep aid for a couple days. Was at 5mg for a week and well that length of time leaves little residual for dependency on valium aside from the psychological. The Mirt and Gaba are picking up the slack again! Glad you made it through without aid. The big book talks about Uncomfortable, irritable and discontent and I did experience some of that, well the irritable. I was afraid of the consequences if i didn't settle my GABA's down immediately. Now I'm not sure how hard core your level of use was the days prior as mine was 40oz so I waited 24 hours to metabolize most of the alcohol and did the valium route with one large shot and then tapered it down. Definately not in the mood to argue which route is better, but i felt in my case it was wise as the risk levels were so high. Another note is my specialist gave me Gabapentin instead of Valium for the last time so I wonder how much they correlate. Obviously Gabapentin is for anxiety and I could see how that could replace valium. God forbid it happens again I will try simply Gabapentin.

Glad you made it! I chain smoked for a week! Hows the smoking?

OH BP. 124/81 pulse 78. But I did not wait the 5 minutes and it was done in a large busy store and after driving.

Another note. I actually had the patience and drive to spend 2 hours cooking from scratch beef marinated and broc and almonds and various other veggies. And I spend a good hour mowing the lawn so I'm back at it. I noticed no interest or drive for a week post alcohol which bothered me and things piled up. Glad to get things done again!

dill, 140/90 is generally considered borderline and my average tends to be around there. Haven't checked since I went AF back in January (finally decided to pick up batteries and get my machine back up and running. Helps me keep things structured to start keeping track of measurements - BP, pulse, weight and calories. Last time I was keeping track of calories at the beginning I realized how below the min intake I was. Now if I could just get whatever this myofascial issue under wraps and get a full physical.)
