Warm (unseasonable) and wet/damp here between the great lakes. Looks very temporary but I'll take it. Oddly the trees still have all their leaves except one or two sub types like the black walnut. Very odd autumn.
I've been taking a closer look at my medications and trying to figure out bias' between sites (Bluelight forum, baclofen treatment, etc) and their agenda's. I have my specialist appointment next week and I need to get my head around whats been going on to see if I can figure out which Gaba A B / Calcium Ion Channels / NMDA and Serotonin I'm messing with. Oddly enough I've found conjecture rampant and people are speculating things and everyone has a different experience. Looking closely at Gabapentin which seems to have some unusual effects in terms of memory and attention span and serious withdrawals for some. It definitely either placebo wise helped me quit AL. Oddly its supposed to stunt the anxiety and energy but seems to make me ON all the time. So some research on it I've concluded its a devil in disguise and I should not be upping it as I have been. I think I will try a day with less to see if I am one of the unlucky ones that experiences withdrawal from it... I have yet to find out. I have a little fear as I take Campral and after reading about Gabapentin it seems they both mess with the Voltage Gated Calcium Ion Channel that relates to how Gaba's work. Could the combo causing the ON switch to be flicked. That or its prolonged withdrawal still from AL.
So realistic assessment time of myself, look at the last couple weeks and what I remember and don't (as it appears to cause some blacking out of memory function or making synapses). I'll have one other person make a list of my behaviors as well and see what the specialist says. Complicated when you research yourself instead of blindly taking medicines from your GP or specialist.
