When we were kids nana or mama would rub Vick's vapor rub and cover with flannel or towel. Today many think ACV has a cure for most everything. Thats all I can muster up. Still thinking on Cowboys ?.                     Another 24 hours please and thank you.

                    Spent a very enjoyable morning watching my grandson play hockey and then treated brekkie at the Farmer’s Market. Great way to spend part of the day! The best part was saying goodbye. My granddaughter gave me a big hug and said “I sure love you Granddad”

                      5:25 here and I'm looking forward to 24 af hours.. Can't yet tell how the weather will be. Dark!
                      Thanks so much for all of the advice! Got out of bed at midnight to do a wick's steam and rub.. helped a bit, I think.. but I will go to the doctor today to at least get a super power cough repressent for the night!

                        One short sentence sums it up in a nutshell. There are many events in our lives over which we have very little control. Staying sober enables us to differentiate what we can and cannot change, to learn to navigate and accept the things that we have no control over. It also helps us get through a lot of rough times without the temporary fix of alcohol......something that took me far too long to realize. In the past, Sundays were my heaviest drinking days. I would start early and continue drinking until bedtime. (or whenever I passed out) The decision not to drink yesterday, makes today a much brighter day.

                        Here's to another 24 and thank you!
