Thanks for your kind words and thoughts Cowboy. Being a care partner can be challenging at times but if our roles were reversed, Mrs QW would do the same for me, no doubt about it.
Before she stabilized on her meds, she was unable to drive for about 5 months. I drove her where she needed to go or one of her friends did. It wasn’t a hardship.
I am looking forward to meeting with other Parkinson’s care partners to discuss how they cope with the disease. Some days it’s like walking on eggshells, others it’s like there’s nothing wrong.
Regardless, this is our new reality and we will make the best of it.

My schedule is still completely upside down but hopefully that will end tomorrow, if not then definitely the day after. My son is home from hospital now but I am staying a bit longer so he can get more rest. I don't know what it is about hospitals, but they are definitely not a place where you can actually get to rest!

Still above freezing! Farm boss called last night, sounds like we're going to give it a try on Thursday. Told him that I had my final appointment with surgeon early tomorrow morning, fil's dementia check-up Thursday, wouldn't be available to combine till around 4pm, then final (I hope) physio appointment early Friday morning. He said I was busier than a farmer at harvest lol.

Morning all. Cool here in Mesquite, NV. Heading to Williams, AZ tomorrow where it snowed! We'd change directions but we had to pay the rv fees up front and hubs doesnt want to leave $300 on the table. Me? Id leave it! Towing in snow is not wise.

Ginger, snow? It’s been a week since we had any! Today it’s 23C, 73F and even warmer tomorrow. I might just have to uncover the AC unit!

Good quote cowboy/Rava.....we all have what it takes to succeed, but it's definitely a learning process. Hope that the doctor's visit goes well today!

Cold with some snow expected overnight, but nothing major yet. Just a glimpse into the future, but I can't complain....at least we're not dealing with hurricanes. Feel so bad for the people in Florida. I'll take a good old snow storm over that any day!

Hope that you all are having a good Wednesday morning, and looking forward to another 24 please!

Finally I am back home and had a good night's sleep. It feels great! It's chilly outside so no deck time. And no night sounds which I miss already. Winter here we come! What happened to Fall?
