    Good morning Cafe. Cowboy loved the worry quote. That spoke directly to me. Worrying drives me nuts! I will remember that one for sure. Dill you are so right, this thread brightens my day and I look forward to jumping on each morning. And YES this world is getting crazy. I am learning more about each of us by reading every day. Really enjoy my online friends!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday. Mr R and I are hanging a TV today. Wish us luck! LOL. Another 24 for me please and thank you!

            Good AF Sunday morning everyone! Another stormy night around here. It's been nice to have a break from the heat!

            I just realized it's been a year since I came back here with my tail between my legs, so to speak.

                      There are so many falsehoods, misrepresentations of facts, and intentional efforts to inflame anger being presented today in the media (in the US) that it is shocking! I find I can no longer take anything I hear or read in the news at face value and I try to remind myself not to react to anything I hear anymore until I look into it further. And even then I am consciously attempting to "Keep calm and carry on". I hope that is not veering to closely into politics, but I don't think it is. I am not advocating a "side" except for the side of calm and truth and hope. :love:

                      I bought a new queen size mattress and box spring set on Saturday from a private seller so Mr. D and I had to find a way to put it in place and it was much too heavy for me to help. We asked our neighbor to help and he gladly obliged. In fact he brought over another friend and the two of them and Mr. D wrestled the pieces up the 19 step curved staircase for us. It was the first time we met this friend of his and he was absolutely a delight, just like our neighbor! They are immigrants from Romania and are some of the most positive, uplifting people on this earth! Light shines from them.

                          65F, gonna be hot and sunny today.
                          Was supposed to be off today, but now pulling a double shift. Oh well, good to have the money. Crazy, but I'm supposed to be semi retired, lol!
                          It's always nice to be needed. So glad not to be headed into a double hungover.
                          Went to a friend's wedding Saturday, at a table of 8, only two had wine in their glass for the toast, 6 of of us only had water!
                          Great job on a year Ginger!
