Happy hump day everyone. Fall is definitely in the air. Have the little fireplace on this morning while we drink our coffee. Forecast 96F by noon. Typical fall weather in eastern WA.

Got Auntie all signed up for assisted living. Now to move her on Friday. She did great!

Yup, alcoholic apathy is a real thing!

It’s cool here today! Finished cat-sitting for the next door cat yesterday, now dog-sitting for the dog across the street. Our cat is transitioning back to solid food today after getting a couple teeth pulled and teeth cleaning under anesthesia at the vet last week.

Got the new fridge yesterday! And got all the factory film residue washed off every single removable piece.

Granddaughter must have done well with wisdom teeth surgery, Ginger.

Sorry about your DIL, Dill. (!) Even though we got addicted too, so we understand; it is still so hard to watch our family members struggle with addiction, and not be able to do anything about it. Your grandchildren are fortunate to have you to pick up the slack for their missing mother.

I have strained my artificial knee, and have a bad flare-up of the nerve damage in my sacrum radiating to hips, so feeling hobbled today.

Looking for 24 more hours please!

Good Morning Cafe. Watching Hurricane Dorian closely as it’s supposed to hit Florida on Monday. YIKES. I knew this would be a concern. This worry would have been an excuse to drink. I’m not going down that road this time around. I can worry but I don’t have to go down a rabbit hole while I wait. Hope everyone has a great day! Another 24 for me please and thanks.

Are you now in Florida, Rava? If you are, make sure the vehicles are on high ground. Rain fall amounts cause much more damage than wind. Wind speed is what most people focus on, but water is far worse. My mom, and sister are in the St. Pete Area, and will be affected as well, but you're more likely to take a more direct hit. Wishing you the best.

Rava...hope that Dorian misses you! I often whine about the amount of snow that we get in this part of N.Y., but it's nothing compared to the wrath of a hurricane. Stay safe!
