Another morning where we missed walking due to wet weather. Hopefully it dries up later. I’m mostly deaf in my left ear but last night a thunderstorm at 3AM woke me up. Thankfully though Jessie wasn’t stressed, actually I don’t think she even woke up!

I received material from Parkinson Canada to use in meeting with politicians ahead of our upcoming federal election. Look forward to fulfilling my duties as an ambassador!

We’re having carpets cleaned tomorrow so will de-clutter the house later today in preparation.

Have an enjoyable Labour Day everyone, af, of course. And thanks to those who are working today to look after those who have the day off.

Glad the family gathering and trip “home” was good for you, Dill. Unsweetened iced tea is a good choice; the caffeine is stimulating, and you don’t get over-sugared like with sugary beverages.
I was getting hit with the smell of “secondhand alcohol” too while away Up North at the cabin this weekend, and it’s amazing how repugnant it is! I’m surprised, because I thought I liked the smell of beer and wine.

Glad you made it through the fair trigger, Jude. Booze seems to be a more prominent feature of fairs than it used to be.
I have found upcoming surgery to be a deterrent to drinking for me -you can use that as a way of fighting off triggers too.

Kudos to you for your work as an advocate for Parkinson’s disease, QW.
