QW your vacation sounds wonderful. Sounds like you are eating well! Great on the no drinking also. Hope everyone has a great Valentines Day. We are cooking hot dogs at the state park and will watch the sunset over the water. Thats my idea of love! Another 24 for me please and thank you.

Thanks for the box of puppies, and the roses and card for Valentines Day!

It’s 1 degree F outside now. I don’t have to worry about this dog we’re babysitting running away, because it’s too cold out for her to want to do so! Our own dog has an Invisible Fence.

Good luck with the fasting blood work, Pauly. I don’t mind it if it’s early, and I can still have coffee.

All-inclusives probably make out well if booze is not included, and you pay extra for it. Hope it’s not wearing on you too much being around all that drinking, QW. That is the hard part of travel now, for those of us who abstain. But, we get a better deal out of the “all-inclusives”!

That sounds like a good way to celebrate Valentines Day, Rava. We don’t celebrate it here, because 4 of our 6 birthdays are in February, and that’s enough “celebrating”! Well, that and our tenuous marriage.

Anyways, happy heart day to all! It will be a sober one for me.

Thanks for the Valentine, Cowboy and the chocolates, Ginger!, and all the Valentine wishes. I particularly liked the thought of watching the sunset and having hot dogs on the grill, Rava. You sound like my kind of people! I hardly noticed Valentines Day somehow. It just blended in to all the other days here but that's not really such a bad thing. I made a pot of chicken and noodle soup in the crock pot along with a second dish of crock pot fried apples and some home made coleslaw. I think Mr. D was feeling the love.

Our granddaughter is coming today for a couple days overnight due to the holiday weekend. She's bringing the Girl Scout cookies! Mmmmm

Slow you've really brought some good thoughts to us this week. Thank you so much!

Another 24 hours please & thank you.

The resort restaurants deliver a complimentary beverage once you’re seated and all contain alcohol. I’ve been giving mine to my buddy, swapping my full glass for his empty one. The waiters seem puzzled when Mrs QW and I don’t order margaritas or other drinks.

We ate at the Thai restaurant last evening. In recognition of Valentine’s Day, the ladies each received a long stem rose.

Today is our friends last full day at the resort. We’ve had a great time and really enjoyed each other’s company. Funny, we met them 6 years ago in Punta Cana and kept in touch via email since but this was the first time we’ve been together.

Not sure what the plan is for today but I’m thinking lots of beach time. Yesterday we had fish swimming all around us when we went for an ocean swim.

Off to the casino with my sisters today. Not my idea of a good time but little sis wants to go. It's a nice drive and we often see wild horses along the route so that's cool.
