Ginger is good for so many things Orimus, but it's a sure-fire stop to my heartburn and headaches!Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...

Re: ~cattleman cafe~ & another 24...
Twenty-four more please. I like seeing the pictures you folks post but am not likely to post many myself, if at all. I'll give it some thought. It is a fun idea!
Thanks for the info on ginger Orimus and for the testimonials, abcowboy. I've been having a lot of heartburn lately and will give it a try!Last edited by dill; April 27, 2017, 12:13 PM.Dill
Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!
If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

Re: ~cattleman cafe~ & another 24...
Another 24 hrs please on this overcast day. Thank you.
abcowboy Great pics! Thanks for sharing and including some personal info. Let you know if I need plumbing advise. Thanks for the offer. Yesterday had washer over flow. We had new Pex pipe installed, new drains, new main a couple yrs ago. They jetted to main bath. Going to possibly need jetting all the way. Also a taller pipe to drain from washer. I may look into an enzyme treatment. Any suggestions? Thankful, for keeping Liquid Plumber in garage. You sound like a trades of all men. Comes in very handy living in the country. Sure your wife appreciates your skills. Tho, she may have them too. Yes, trades people are sometimes big drinkers. My plumber would call drunk every day. Will be using diff Co. for future needs. Going to see if I have time to investigate this mysterious ten yr heart burn problem your having. That is so weird. Think our cells turn over and our replaced with new ones every 7-10 yrs. So, sorta makes sense with you being 60 now. I've used ginger before too, but have to be careful, cause of thyroid disease. Also papaya may help. When we get older our guts have a harder time metabolozing and digesting foods. Papaya, Bromelain, may help with enzymes. Have also used Dragon's Blood. Eating later, laying down right away won't help. Some people drink warm water with baking soda to help. I'm doing this now for another reason. Bob's Red Mills, makes it without toxic aluminium. Also Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar. This brand has the mother in it.
Orimus Yeah, didn't think it was safe posting pics from phone. Even with Secure HTTPS protocal and encryption. One daughter would be horrified. She used to work in abuse, security for a major browser. She also advised, unless you highly trust, never use primary e-mail. She's so busy and lives out of state. So, appreciate you as a member sharing your knowledge. Thank you!... If I do post pics, I'll use a third party to upload. Have many pics on digital camera and backed up on flash drive. Maybe I can figure out this wknd.
Where's the food? Being a slacker, I am. Here you go good folks. Be safe out there!...

Very, very seldom does a washing machine drain line plug Wildflowers. If it’s a drain issue, it’s usually the drain downstream of where the washer drain ties in. Most of the time it’s an undersized drain or too short of a standpipe. If it’s a 2” drain, the standpipe should be a minimum length of 30”, if it’s a 1 ½” drain, the standpipe should be minimum 42”. And that’s very important for today’s efficient washers because of the high output pumps. Also, using higher settings on the washer such as “heavy duty” or “water level” can also cause backup problems in those cycles. Hope that helps solve the problem.
I also suffered from hyperthyroidism and had the radioactive iodine treatment. It took years to finally find the right dose of synthroid, so I’m very careful about taking anything that may affect it. But the Doc still wants to test my blood twice a year to make sure nothings changed lol.
Fruit and donuts!! What more could I ask for!

PanhandleKim Thinking of you. Sending prayers and good thoughts your way. It's easier to stay stopped than start again for many of us. Don't wake up the dragon. Poisonous-Ethanol-Alcohol!.... You'll never regret making these happy memories with your beautiful daughter!... Being healthy. Not disappointing yourself. If you feel wobbly, look up!... Hope you'll check in. It really does help. Enjoy this very special trip with your daughter.

Wildflowers - thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers. My daughter and I arrived in Austin around 5:00 pm - it's about an 8 hour trip from where we live. Thank you for your words of encouragement - made it tonight without alcohol!
Another 24 please...
