Navigating a post-truth society is tricky. (Good description, Techie) Perhaps the first rule is to question everything and learn not to to react emotionally to everything that is spewed. That's what I am working at for myself. It takes digging, but the truth can eventually be found much of the time.

Many moons ago, I was a journalism major in college. So glad that I didn't pursue it, due to what the media has become these days. Much of the news today closely resembles that of fiction writing. Whatever happened to just reporting the facts?

More snow on the way today and tonight, and I still prefer it over rain and mud!

It’s too cold to go outside so today will be spent de-cluttering and working on down sizing. We made good progress yesterday and are encouraged to carry on today.

Trying hard to do just that [MENTION=7944]dill[/MENTION], going through some more health problems with the FIL, nothing serious, but serious enough to pay attention to. So it's been taking up a bit more of Bubba's time and I can see it's not easy for her. With Covid rules the way they are, she's basically the only person who can be with him to help him get better. And I imagine it's not any easier for the MIL being locked down in the Manor and having to rely on Bubba's daily phone calls to keep her informed as to what is happening. I'll just keep doing what I can to help and be here for Bubba when she needs me for anything...

Off to see my chiropractor this morning and on the way home I’ll pick up a few groceries. I think we’ll be grocery shopping online and picking things up curb side for the next while.

Cowboy, Bubba and her folks are fortunate to have you there helping. Caring for aging parents is a privilege but it can be very tiring and sometimes frustrating.

Today is going to be a great day if we let it. Let’s fill our heads with happy thoughts and enjoy the day af.

Home safe and sound and just in front of a snow storm. First real snow of the season and the first one for us in a long while. Thanks for all the well wishes. Still a little off. Weird!

Picking up a kitty to foster tonight. She's been in a rough situation and needs some mental rehab. Hope I can do that for the poor little thing so she becomes a happy adoptable kitty. And who knows, maybe I'll just keep her in the end! I love a cat! Heck, what am I saying, I love all animals! That's why I'm vegan for Pete's sake. Lol

Four inches of snow here this morning. Expecting 1-2 more. Yep, that's winter in Yakima! To my Northern Cafe friends that's nothing!
