Rava, that sounds like a lovely way to stay booze free. I'm going to try and ride my bike today. I know I can do recumbent but not sure about a regular bike. We shall see!

I'll take another day of freedom!

Late check in here. I didn't have time to get online this morning before I left for volunteering. It's a good day not to drink.

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

Good morning friends! I have to take another cat to the vets this morning, so there goes another couple of hundred dollars. Ugh...

Tomorrow is opening day for deer hunting, (rifle) and Mr. J and a friend are heading out first thing in the morning. Hope that they have good luck as we could use some meat in the cooler.

        24 more please...

Fingers crossed for a successful hunt for Mr. J, Jude! I hope he and his friend have good weather and enjoy the day no matter the outcome. Will he continue to hunt if they don't bag anything tomorrow. How long is the season?

Today we have a little celebration for my son's birthday. He is 43 today! Yikes. I also have to set up this afternoon for tomorrow's bake sale. So, busy day today and a great day not to drink.

Bike riding is a great activity to say booze free, Ladies! I was just thinking that is one thing I've not attempted ever: drinking and bike riding. Sounds terribly dangerous! Thinking about it took me back through time and remembering life before I ever got started down Booze St...I wish I had chosen the AF path way back then.

24 for all of us here, please and thank you.

Good morning Cafe. Wishing Mr. J luck in getting a deer. Dill and Ginger, I have a little electric bike which allows me to scoot around easily. It’s small enough that i feel safe. You can pedal if you want and it has pedal assist so it’s not as hard on your knees. It also has power in which you dont have to pedal at all. It’s the best thing ever. Even on windy days you have no problem. I know it’s not the best for “exercise” but as we get older it allows us to still participate in activities we like. Hope everyone has a great and sober day! 24 more please and thank you.

I remember you telling us about the electric bike Rava, sounds like a very convenient way to get around.

Hope Mr J and his friend have a successful hunt tomorrow Jude, is it white tail deer they are after? Adam and I will be going out again tomorrow as well, our rifle season started on November 1st and ends on the 30th. I did go out early this week and set up some trail cams in the areas we saw some scrapes so we'll change the sd cards in them tomorrow and see if we got anything on them.

How did the bike riding go for you Ginger, did the knee hold up okay?

Have a good time with your son today dill, and have fun at the sale tomorrow with your granddaughter.

My day got busy and I never tried the bike. Maybe today? Clearly it's not a high priority Rava, those bikes are so popular with our age group. Makes perfect sense. Anything to keep us moving!

My 15 yo gson and 14 yo gdaughter both got their elk last weekend. Those were some smiling faces and proud dads. Good luck to Mr J.

Here's to another day of freedom!
