Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

That statement is so true Jude, cravings seem to sneak up and hit you almost anytime, anyplace.
We had just over a foot of snow yesterday but it was manageable as I went out 3 times to shovel. I see there is more to shovel this morning but only appears to be a couple of inches. A bit more supposed to fall today again but nothing like yesterday.Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. Good morning and thanks for the breakfast. I was just looking at a recipe for “cloud eggs”. Looks like too much work to whip the egg whites, etc. Love those fried potatoes too! Yesterday I was a complete zombie and laid around completely enjoying Season 5 of Yellowstone. One episode left. Mul, that bomb cyclone sounded terrible. I can only imagine the devastation to the area. I hope everyone has a good and sober day. No drinking for me, no booze in this house. 24 more please and thank you!

Yummy breakfast as usual, ABC.
Hubby and I went to a large chain grocery story yesterday. I haven't been to a large store in ages! It was an overwhelming experience and I wont go back. I don't care what they have that I need. There was literally alcohol on every end cap and the largest alcohol section I've ever seen, including a wine bar. No wonder there's so much addiction! Good grief.
Waves to all my pals in the Cafe! I'll take another freedom

Thanks for the awesome breakfast, cowboy! And wow, what a lot of snow you’ve had to deal with already.
Ginger, I feel the same way about those huge grocery stores. The store we go to is big like the way they used to be. But all the other stores near me are those superstores. And you’re right about wine and beer everywhere and they also have a wine bar right in the store. Ridiculous!
i’m keeping this short because I’m having some technical difficulties with my computer. Hope everybody has a great and sober Sunday!Dill
Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!
If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

Wow, that's a lot of snow Cowboy, holy moly!
Speaking of cravings: feeling really lousy today, just tired, depressed, irritable (for no real reason), have a very strong urge to find a mickey of whiskey and take a few deep long pulls. I just have to remind myself that I made it through 6 months of feeling like crap (post-acute withdrawal), I can make it through one evening, and I'll feel better in the morning. Not today.Last edited by Mulburry; Yesterday, 10:09 PM.
