Rava, I'm so very sorry. Hard enough to say goodbye without getting scolded by step-mom. Sending thoughts and prayers your way.

My poor friend is so sick! It's a bad crud. She's single so no one to help her. I've been checking in and helping with her sweet pup. I know I'm taking a big chance but what else can I do?

Knee is a little better with rest, ice, etc. Counting my blessings! Waves to all! I'll take another day of freedom.

Rava, you did the right thing saying goodbye to your Dad, even if your stepmother didn't approve. It must have been a rough day for sure.

Ginger, make sure that you wear a mask when you visit your sick friend. How kind of you to take care of her, hope that she gets better soon.

Sounds like you were in a baking frenzy yesterday dill. I'll stop in later for some cookies!

      It's 7

I'm sure you did the right thing too, Rava. I'm glad you and your dad could have those moments together. It sounds like your stepmom is in massive denial and fear. Sorry you are going thru this.

I think we are finally turning the corner: We are at the point where the days are the shortest, they will be all year. The will start getting longer now ever so gradually.

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

See! It has something to do with numeric values, Jude. I'm assuming the data is being stored on a SQL server and when you submit it truncates. I'll see about contacting admin about.

I never did hear back from QW and my friend said he hasn't posted in ages on the Parkinsons Facebook page. I'm really worried about him. Wondering about Techie too. This is the downside of anonymity.

Little sister will arrive in just three weeks! I've been a little worried because she's a daily drinker and we all know how hard that can be! She texted yesterday that she's not drank in ten days and plans to abstain while here. Hallelujah! She said it's a whole new world!

Quiet day around here. Another warm one too. Waves to all. I'll come back for breakfast, if I don't forget! I'll take another day.

Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.

Hopefully you'll hear something back from Support Ginger, and they can fix whatever is giving Jude problems. It's great that your sister has been abstaining, maybe she'll decide to just quit for good.

I'm not sure what happened to QW or techie, you'd think they would check in from time to time just to let us know how they are doing.

I wanted to wish you all a Blessed Merry Christmas. My wife and I just returned from a lengthy trip to Europe. My goal is to be more active here in 2025. I think of you all often and miss the interaction.
