5:18am in Alberta, I'll have another 24 please, and thanks...

In the last 24 hours, these friends have joined in for 24 hours of wellness:
Jude58 Rava dill Slo Ginger999 Mulburry

Today is going to be a darn good day not to drink!
Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Slo, Too many clouds to be able to view that full moon! Too bad. I do love to see that big, bright, beautiful moon! Looks like we're in for another bout of deep cold. Can't wait for Spring!

Rava, sorry your dental appointment went south!

Mul, I take Vitamin D daily too because it helps with the absorption of the calcium supplement my doc suggested.

Waves to you, Cowboy, Ginger, and Jude.

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.
      Dill

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

We have a Syrian Refugee family here in Veg that was sponsored by the United Church where Bubba works. They have been here 3 months and finally got their PR documentation. We have become quite good friends with them and their 2 children helping them adapt to life in Canada. They went and got their Learner's License a week ago and I've been riding along with them the past week getting ready for their Driver's License Road test which they take today. Hopefully at least one of them will pass and gain a bit more independence rather than always having to depend on someone else to drive them to wherever they need going.

In other news, we found out last weekend that our oldest daughter in Vancouver and her guy of 18 years are splitting up and she's moving back to Vermilion to live with her mom. She said she would explain the whole situation to me once she gets here this coming weekend and gets settled in. She did say that at 47 she didn't feel like she wanted to start all over again in a new place by herself. I guess I'll know more in the coming days/weeks.

Speaking of the full moon, a friend here has become quite the photographer in retirement. He now sells them! I have several of the back home.
FB_IMG_1739369350998.jpg Waves to all. I'll take another day!
