Whoops! I missed check in yesterday. I'm here though and AF!

Jude, I'm so very sorry this has happened on your trip. How much longer are you there? I too, wonder if you can extend?

It's still wintery around here at 37F but I wouldn't trade it for anything! The rattle snakes are coming into the rv resort now. No Bueno!

Dill, does Pumkin get to be out during the day?

I'm hoping to get back to workout tomorrow! Going to lunch with my sisters today to celebrate missed birthdays. Waves to all. I'll take another day!

      Good morning!

Dill, maybe Pumpkin can have free rein during the day, and put the trap back out at night?

I am trying to bake the cookies today, but they are not holding together very well, so may end up being a waste.

Had a nice time taking Grandson to Chuck E.Cheese last evening.

      Off to vote now!

Once a pickle, never a cucumber again.

Oh god, do I not miss that, hangovers would always make me feel so hot and sweaty the next day. Interestingly they always made me feel itchy too (I don't think that's a normal reaction), but strangely enough when I quit drinking the itchiness never went away; I've been seeing an allergist / immunologist but he can't seem to figure out what's causing it. He didn't think so, but I'm still convinced it's alochol related, almost like it triggered something in my body and now the switch is just stuck in that position (chalk that up to another negative long term Al effect, and a good reason never to start in the first place).

Good morning cafe! 24 more for all of us please...

The problem with giving Pumpkin freedom is that he could possible find a way to get himself into one of the traps. They are a bit of a pain to bait and set, so Mr. D was hoping not to have to unset them until the critter was safely away. But I am going to advocate for him today if we still have not caught that possum. Haven't checked the traps yet this morning.

Sure hope your cookies turn out alright, Slo.

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

Good morning Cafe. Jude, Maybe you can try to sit outside for a short amount of time before the humidity gets bad. Yes the booze is crazy. It’s at every corner and to go to sunset everyone brings wine/booze and their glasses and toast sunset. Not to mention it available in every grocery store or pharmacy. Even CVS and Walgreens sells wine/beer. When we get back north it requires a little more work to get a bottle of wine and have to actually go to a liquor store. Once you have a drinking issues this really becomes apparent. Anyway, hoping you feel better soon. Dill, good luck with the wraskly possoum. Ginger, yes the rattlesnakes would push me out. Much like the hurricanes push me out as well. I read somewhere that if you want to sell your home in FL now is the time because they are expected to drop 40% yikes. We are not ready to sell but look like our investment is going down the toilet. Hi to Mul and Cowboy and Slo! Hope everyone has a good day. 24 more please and thank you.

Are you still seeing the possum on your camera's dill? Maybe it's moved on to greener pastures.

You never know about the real estate market Rava, maybe it'll rebound before you guys decide to sell.

Cookie crumbles are just as good Slo, put them in a bowl with some ice cream like I do.

It's still a bit wintery here as well Ginger but the huge dump of snow we got is slowly melting away.

I hated those 3am night sweats as well Mulburry, and I have a bit of the same condition, my back always seems to be itchy with no medical reason for it.

Slo, make pan cookies! Heck, I'd eat the raw dough myself since stopping AL. Not my best decision but, oh well!

Off to exercise! Hi to all. I'll take another day of freedom!

                    Comment

I added some water and was able to get the dough to stick together, and the cookies turned out!

Rava, how annoying that the people can’t even go to view the sunset without a drink in their hand!
Sorry your investment might not pay out if you want to leave Florida at some point, Rava.
My condo isn’t going to pay out either (will take a significant loss on it), and I don’t feel at home here; so I feel a bit of your pain. Maybe I won’t feel at home anywhere except at the home that I lost in the divorce, so I’ll just have to sit tight. Turns out I don’t much like living alone.

Yes, I hope you can sit outside in the early AM in Florida at least, Jude.

Happy that you had sister time, Ginger!

Oh, I didn’t realize there was more than one trap, Dill.

Was going to take my mother out for dinner, but she cancelled due to rain & wind in the forecast.

Good morning Cafe. Slo, glad you got those cookies made. Your mom cancelling out is probably no great surprise. Mr R and I are taking our kayak out and try some fishing today. I will let you know if we get anything or not. Supposed to be 90 so it’s gonna be a hot one. Hope everyone has a great and sober day! 24 more please and thank you.

Are you feeling any better Jude, at least getting out for a few hours in the sun?

Good luck with the fishing Rava, what kind of fish do you usually catch?

What's wrong with eating raw cookie dough Ginger, I do it as well, not the whole bowl though lol.

                              Good morning cafe!

Dill, hopefully that pesky possum has moved on and Pumpkin won't be bothered anymore. We have possums in our area, but I've never seen a live one, only dead ones in the road.

Feeling a little better today and hoping it continues. I do really miss home though, as I can't handle this heat and humidity. Not for me!

24 more for all of us please.

Jude, yeah; I was thinking that the Florida heat & humidity probably isn’t a good fit for you.

I’m making my way through this dumb head cold that my grandson gave me.

I saw a possum once, when my then 7 y/o daughter picked one up in the backyard!

I hope you enjoy your fishing excursion, Rava!

I have been exploring the idea that some of my neuropathy has been caused by a vitamin B6 toxicity. So, I am doing a detailed protocol of daily hydration with extra sodium & potassium, plus tracking the B6 in food to keep daily intake at or just below the recommended daily amount. It’s annoying and all-encompassing, but may give me a chance to heal from something that isn’t very curable.

Wishing everyone a great AF day!
