Jude, sounds like a great activity for today!
Anyways........ I'm just about recovered from a brutal episode of food poisoning (or a stomach virus who knows). The first day was like no hangover I've ever had, but by the second day, only throwing up a couple times, feeling quite nauseous and guts in a not, and of course sick and lethargic, it reminded me so much of a bad hangover it really put me in that mental headspace, that I had to keep telling myself I didn't drink, I'm not hungover. Strange how association works in the mind.

The air boat tour was fun, but we didn't see any alligators. We had to wear 2 way head sets so that we could converse with the driver of the boat and the other passengers. Well, didn't I drop my phone and immediately say f#*k directly into the microphone for all of the passengers to hear. Everybody kept a straight face except my sister who was quite amused by it all. Oops!
Good luck with your new choppers cowboy. After you get your hearing aids adjusted you'll be good as new.
I leave here tomorrow for home and I'm really looking forward to it, as I've been away for almost a month. I miss Mr. J and all of the animals.
24 more please...

Sounds like the ride was fun anyway Jude, dropped phone and all lol. Are you flying home right from Florida or doing the road trip again?
Sounds like doing lots of running around to get settled Ginger lol. Have you gotten any bites on the 5th. wheel?
I think with the amount of snow we got this year the dugouts up here will be back up to normal levels dill so we might not have cattle in the farmyard using the stock waterer. Not sure I'd go out to feed alligators in a canoe!
Glad to hear you're almost back to normal Mulburry, those stomach bugs are never pleasant!
My hearing hasn't gotten any worse so I don't need to spend a bunch of money on new hearing aids. He cleaned and did some minor adjustments to my old ones and I'm good as new. I did stop in Vermilion on my way home and had a nice walk with Amanda and Bruce. we had a nice visit as we walked the trail in the Provincial Park.Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. Good morning Cafe. Jude, so glad you enjoyed the airboat ride. We never saw alligators on ours either. Wishing you safe travels back. Mul, so glad you are feeling better. Nothing like the stomach bug. Cowboy, wont be long before you have you new choppers!!! Ginger, hope time slows down for you. You have been so busy. Dill catch and release fishing with the grands is the best! Speaking of fishing, did anyone see the picture of the guy from NC who caught a 140 pound tuna from his kayak???? I cant even imagine how that went…. Slo, hope you have a good time with D3 and her family. Hope everyone has a great and sober Thursday. 24 more please and thank you.

I can't imagine how anyone could catch a 140lb fish while in a kayak! Not sure I believe it. Could be the ultimate fish story!
Mul, sorry you were so sick. YUCK.
Late check in here as it was volunteer day. I'm tired but looking forward to the rest of the 24 alcohol free.Dill

Good morning Cafe. Safe travels today Jude. Hope you are feeling back to normal. Dill, it’s a true story. Just google it. 140 pound tuna caught from a kayak in NC. There are pictures of it and the guy literally put it on the front of his jeep and drove it to the weighing station. It is quite the fish story! Hope everyone has a great Friday. 24 more please and thank you.

Safe travels, Jude!
Cowboy, with all the spring rains we've had, all the ponds, streams and rivers are way, way up! It's so nice to go out and walk around the pond, now that it is back to the proper level. Now, if we could just keep those rascally heron away! Glad you avoided the expense of upgrading the hearing aids. Mr. D is dependent upon his and we know from experience how expensive it is.
Ginger, I'm glad you're finally settling back into a more regular routine.
24 more please and thank you.
Dill

Have a safe flight home Jude, I imagine Mr J and the critters will be just as excited to see you as well!
We've been having some beautiful weather so I think today I'll get in some yard work, at least get the grass all raked and maybe even fertilized.Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. I am here now at my daughter & son-in-law’s house! I love being with this little family. And I’m further south, where there’s budding trees and tulips; signs of Spring.
I would capsize the kayak for sure if I tried to fish from it!
That’s good that your hearing aids just needed a tuneup, Cowboy; and you got in some time with Amanda besides.
Mul, my daughter D2 didn’t know if she had food poisoning or a sickness, but, yesterday was diagnosed with C-diff!! Well, she had been on Augmentin for her sinus or whatever infection, so this may be a side effect of that; and also she was exposed to a patient at work with C-diff.
Safe travels, Jude! Hi to Dill & Ginger.Once a pickle, never a cucumber again.
