I had a nice day up at D1’s house. I got to play a lot of games, dominoes and several matching games, with my little Mabel. And Cooper wanted to “drive Beckett’s tractor”, and he was for the first time big enough to reach the pedal and drive all over the yard! And I was the one to share in this with him.

Ginger is probably busy with the new baby.

You have a lot going on, Jude. I sure hope knuckle surgery goes well for him. Sorry to hear you have a knuckle problem too, Rava.

Thanks for the update on your teeth, Cowboy; I was wondering.

    Hi to Mul & Dill!

Good morning everyone! I've been busy with baby. Gdaughter was in labor 24hrs. She was able to give birth at home and I was there! I didn't get home Tuesday until 2a. I haven't been up that late AND driving in forever. It was a challenge but worth every minute. All is well. Headed up after work out to check him out more closely! 8lbs 11oz and 21" long.

Jude, I'm so very sorry for your loss. He was a lucky boy and sounds like his place of rest was a perfect choice.

Feeling full of blessings and gratitude. I'll take another day of freedom

Wow, there sure are a lot of things happening with this little crew! Cowboy, I'm so glad you have a set appointment to get your new teeth, and the remainder pulled. June 1 will be here before you know it.

Huge congrats to Great grandma Ginger! How very exciting!

Jude, I never knew they did knuckle replacements. I hope Mr. J's recovery is swift and he will be feeling much better soon.

Slo, you are so lucky to have those little grands close. They are so delightful.

Rava, wouldn't that be great if knuckle surgery is possible for you?!

Nothing much happening in my part of the world today.

24 more for all of us here, please and thank you.

        Dill

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

Ginger, how exciting that you were able to be with your g daughter when she had the baby. What did they name him?

Cowboy, good news about your new teeth, but it's too bad that you have to wait so long to get them put in. Maybe you could be put on a cancellation list and possibly get in sooner.

Yes, it seems as though modern medicine can replace a lot of joints. Mr. J is doing well, and so far there is very little pain. The surgery only took a little over an hour. Apparently they replace the knuckle with a silicone implant. Rava, you should definitely look into having the procedure if your knuckles are hurting that bad.

24 more for all of us please...

Congratulations on the new great grandson Ginger, how exciting that you got to be there! That's a healthy young lad, no wander the labor was so long!

Glad everything went well with Mr J's surgery Jude, how long will the recovery take? I did go on the cancellation list but she said it's not often that they get a 3 hour appointment cancellation, but you never know. This may work out for the best anyway as we should be done or close to done seeding by then.

I'd be looking into a knuckle replacement as well Rava if it's something that will work for you. Good luck with the crabbing!

It sounds like you love the time you spend with your grandkids Slo, and I bet they love the time they spend with you as well.

Hope your volunteer day goes good dill, any more word on the hospital closure?

Got a call from Corey yesterday, sounds like he could use my help again this year. I stopped over there as I was at the farm getting the well up and running after shocking it and had a look at the new to us tractor I'll be running! It's a 2023 John Deere 9RX 640 quad trac, quite a machine! It's a bit bigger in physical size than the old one as well as more horsepower with a few added electronics and more comfy cab. Shouldn't be much for me to get the hang of I'm sure.
