Now off to see mother and bring her to that fecking doctor - who she says apparently is rude & doesn't even look at her.

I'm not 85 and can take it but I've noticed that myself about mine - too busy typing away on his 'puter - last time I could have had 2 heads for all the notice he took of me as a patient

Afternoon army. Sad news about David Bowie he kept his illness secret so one know it seems. Another great musician/artist gone. Satz thats awfull about your mum i think she needs a new docter and awnsers to why she was let get to that condition and lose a stone in a month. Keep us informed.

Great Bowie songs all over the radio today. I saw him in Dublin in 97 in the Olympia theatre. Yep, one of the greats.

It is chilly out there.. fire, book, netflix, house is like a bomb hit it, but Mondays are too busy and Im too tired.
Everyone is off the booze and we're tripping over people out running.. We are all a bit mad really.

Put on my best bib & tucker and strode into the doctor's office.
He was taken aback a bit.
I introduced myself and then pointedly looked at the other person in the office till he introduced him and asked at last if it was ok with my mother for the student to be there.
Feckin' cheek ...
Then he was on to his 'puter and ready to diagnose without even really looking at her.
I called out all that was wrong and can we please look properly and see what was going on.

He examined her properly (she said for the first time in along time) : blood pressure, diabetes check etc. and arranged for blood tests. I asked pertinent questions and he had to answer me :haha:
I think we got to the crux of it - so should see an improvement soon.

Because she's on a medical card Mary we have to go to a doctor on the panel ... and he is it .

I came home then and off to Rutland with young Satz

I went to my personal trainer last night, he really put me through my paces but it was good and I surprised myself how I did.

Work was mental as usual and today doesn't look much easier.

Very sad about David Bowie, watched a tribute to him last night, he really was an amazing man. He was a huge part of my growing up.
