No, not the getting drunk bit but socialising with people. And I loathe going out at night if I am honest. Happy to meet a friend in the day, go for a walk. But night.....I loathe it
It has to be something very, very special to drive me out of the house at night...........like last night. Tickets were a Christmas pressie........I was sort of honour bound to go and I'm so glad I did............we're going to the 30th birthday party next week of S&H's best friend..........tbh the main/only reason I'm going my lad is singing a few tunes with the band.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

          Then you are abnormal...... :haha:
          Seriously
It is perfectly NORMAL not to want to go out having been out working all week - don't beat up on yourself - staying in is the new going out.

I don't know if it's abnormal not wanting to go out. I think most people are not arsed, unless they really want to get locked.
              what is normal anyway.

We have 2 nights coming up ( in flipping January and February!) and I'm not dreading them like I was before xmas. Nor am I getting excited about them either.
One is a 'burns supper', so that's a first..

Thanks for an interesting discussion Army. I tried AA and it didn't work for me or I guess I didn't work it. I enjoyed a Woman's meeting that I attended but even that one overwhelmed me. I am so shy that it just tore me up every time that I attended a meeting. I tried several different types and locations of meetings and forced myself to go. I was so uncomfortable and it made my anxiety thru the roof.
That is why MWO is where I am comfortable and can open up. I also have other online resources that I use.
Do you think that might be the same for others?
