Was watching a documentary on Sky Atlantic about heroin addiction Cape Cod - all young people
About page for the HBO Documentary Film Heroin: Cape Cod, USA


In the space of the time they were interviewing these young people - 2 girls died age 23 from overdose.
Such a waste of life.
They were saying 80% of people that take painkillers - whether for medical reasons or abusing them - end up using heroin to get high 'cos it's cheaper.

I was bored and started reading the meds threads, too, JC. Really sad. I have no idea who, if anyone, is right or wrong. I figure it's not my business to comment but really hate to see such toxic interactions. Talk about people creating separate realities!

Ahh Sugarbabe I just got a bit cross............make that a lot cross .........as Tippers was the poster boy for baclofen and the last I heard he had 6 years AF and Mario.......one of the most gentle men here ..........was always an anything that worked kind of person.

JC, I read some of those posts but I can't follow them, they are all so long and complicated, I only know which side is which by the 'likes'!
I agree, whatever works.. Is the idea of medication to come off it after a period of time, after the habit is broken or is it a long term solution, I'm just curious.

It really was, it's a different world in those court rooms - very interesting. I'm exempt for life but would do it in a heart beat again!
