Has he got some boxes to tick? You know your mental health better than anyone.......and tbh this early in your sobriety would be just plain daft.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

I'll try and drop in to the barracks more often. There is a wee problem with the time difference for me. By the time you are all up and going, I'm off to answer e-mails for the family business, etc., and if I get started posting, I tend to spend more time than I should on here. Same thing for the evening hours. I'm usually in bed by 11pm but close the laptop by 10 - 8pm your time, so as to wind down a bit before bed. So when the Army is just getting going in the evening hours, I'm already gone.

My cousin who used to be terrified of flying was given valium and it had the opposite effect instead of calming her made her manic. There's a proper medical name for that which I just cannot remember.
I had a similar problem with older son when he was just a year old and I brought him to Greece for the first time. The pediatrician told me to give him and antihistamine to make him sleepy to keep him calm during the 10-hour flight. He also told my to try it first before the trip, just in case it had the opposite effect and made the baby hyper. I didn't try it beforehand, it made him hyper and the rest is history....

Hello! to Satz and Mary!! Forgot to mention you earlier.

Am off to hang some new curtains. I've repainted the extra room - now my "office" and have lovely lacy curtains waiting to be shortened and hung. See yaz later. Hope you all have a great Sunday!! inkele:

Was it phenergan? Got that from my GP when the S&H wouldn't sleep...........pleased to say it worked like a dream and got him into a proper routine..........mind if I'd admitted that at the Mother & Toddler's group I'd have been frogmarched out by the proper mummies.

Don't remember what it was but he hardly slept at all the first half of the flight. Wot's "frogmarched"?

              Now I really gotta go......zoom.....

                frog•march (ˈfrɒgˌmɑrtʃ, ˈfrɔg-)

                v.t.
to force (a person) to march with the arms pinioned behind the back.

Well there definitely wont be any slipping or thoughts of it with a meet up on the horizon!
Which is great as I have a boozy dinner party to get through before then.

Thanks for that Jacks . I am gearing up for a visit to my doc and I KNOW I'm not ready for work yet. I'll get the "it'll be harder the longer you leave it" shite.
But he can't know how it is in there and how I feel about it.
I'd prefer to stay here with mr S and that's saying a lot :haha:

Lay it all out on the table Satz.. Everything. Takes notes in with you so you don't forget anything. Going week to week and then dreading Monday is head wrecking.
Are there any options in work? Redundancy? Career break? 3 day week? Is it big enough that you could move within the company? Have you thought about jacking it in?

Yes, you are right. I have cut down on them but I don't want to make any more changes for at least 6 months. He did say I could control what we did. But I won't let him bully me into doing anything I am not ready for

I could but I'm mean. I want redundancy. As sure as I walk out they'd announce it and I'd miss out after 23 years. I've told them I want it but they have ask the big boys in US.
                                But I can't wait forever
