Hello all,
Missed Tabbers earlier, good to see him hanging in.

Out later, dinner party, Im on deserts, so up late baking then set the alarm to churn the ice cream at 3am! My Aunts were here for coffee this morning, so ready for bed now. Forgot the tooth fairy 2 nights in a row, so am mean mammy today (because she is 9 and playing the game at this stage)..

Definitely less anxious about tonight than previous Christmas nights, the panic in my head has more to do with the conversations around why Im not drinking rather that why I couldn't just break out tonight - which still flickers in my head, but I am not giving that any attention.

They are doing a cocktail reception - so lots of 'just have one', 'you can leave the car', 'a few drinks wont kill you'' -lovely people , but a bit innocent in ways and will be almost offended that I wont try their marvelous drink's, made with rare olives flown in from unknown islands off the coast of Africa and a Japanese tea leaf, promising wealth or such wonders...

Oh Mary that sounds horrific to me. But good luck. I am still not ready to face anything that resembles socialising yet. Sacked off the party that we were invited to tonight and am delighted about that. About to sack off an invitation to go running. I would just rather do it on my own just now. Hmmmmm still , it is working for me so trying not to worry about dying a lonely old woman

I would much rather be watching spooks (again), I must check out Dr Foster. But I cant get out of these nights, we live in each others pockets. But, MrM bringing his alcohol free beer:happy2:.

Afternoon army its raining here so just staying in for today. Watching back to back come dine with me episodes and might even clean the bathroom and bedroom later if i can get up off the sofa lol just laziness really but it does need to be done and the rest of the place hoovered.

Hi Sunny, I think Mario lives in Spain now so sadly won't be seeing him. I will be seeing Oney, Molls, Satz, Mary and Glitzy though!!!

Too early in the year for contracts, but I have applied for a position. Salary not great, but a a basic to build on, it is better than nothing! I'll let you know when the interview is going to be.

I'm going to a party tonight a surprise 30th birthday party for the S&H's bezzie mate. S&H is singing a few songs with the band.

Ooh and the S&H is going to see the recording of Graham Norton's show next Friday. His branch of the company won tickets and a smooch in the green room for being one of the top sellers of the said Mr Norton's wine. With any luck he'll get to meet Will Smith who's on the prog. There' also Catherine Zeta-Jones and Zayn from One Direction but he's not that bothered about them.
